In one, magic ran rampant throughout the universe, wild and free and terrible in its power and majesty.
In another, magic only existed within stories, to fill readers with a sense of hope and wonder. In another world, there was nothing. No light, no dark, no up nor down, not even a sense of self.

In one particular universe, humans evolved…differently. A harsher world led its inhabitants to grow in ways that allowed them to quickly adapt to any challenges their world threw at them.
