   Summary

   Eira remembers only three things: her name, the pain beneath her ribs, and that she must find Qifrey.

   When she arrives at his atelier, half-conscious and carrying a form of magic neither of them fully understands, Qifrey offers her a place to recover. What starts as an attempt to unravel the spell carved into her body becomes something neither of them expected: the discovery that home can sometimes be found in a person.

   But recovering Eira's past means she must confront what was done to her, and the thing beneath her ribs was never meant to remain dormant.
