"Let's get married! What? Ah, no, that came out wrong, wait, I meant, let's not get divorced! Aish, that doesn't make sense either—"
After that awkward conversation, Taesan and Jaehyun were much closer. It wasn't like they were suddenly glued to the hip.
But now Taesan made himself more present, in a way that hadn't happened before. When Jaehyun's hair got too long, Taesan would quickly brush the bangs away from his eyes. When they were close, their shoulders would lightly touch, or if they were sitting, Taesan's head would be slightly tilted towards Jaehyun.
And above all, eye contact. Taesan had never been able to hold prolonged eye contact, at least until now — Jaehyun was the one who had to look away. It wasn't something heavy or uncomfortable, just something new, a look that Jaehyun couldn't quite understand.
Actually, lately, there were several things he didn't understand about Taesan.
Mainly about THE TALK — what was all that about getting married and not getting divorced? Ah, Taesanie was so funny sometimes, he said the most unexpected things.
It was rare for him to get flustered, so Jaehyun wanted to reassure his dongsaeng, even though he hadn't quite understood the purpose of that conversation — but it was really alright.
Jaehyun didn't know what had been wrong or what caused the talk, but he knew that now things couldn't be better.
Even his fans agreed — he was surprised at how much the fans noticed this closeness between them and how happy they were. It made him laugh a little when he read that the divorce between them was over.
But what divorce? Ah, fans are really something else. Fan behavior has no explanation, and that's fine, but what about Han Dongmin's?
What amused Jaehyun the most about this whole situation was how much Taesan hated the word divorce, seriously.
It started with the talk, when he said he didn't want to get divorced, and it continued after that.
When they went to record their first live in a while together, one of the comments mentioned their somewhat divorce. Taesan saw the comment and purposely leaned closer to Jaehyun — Jaehyun was so shocked he didn't even know what to say, he could only laugh and look astonished at the camera.
He didn't mind Taesan's closeness — he would never mind. If Taesan wanted to be close to him, that was fine, and if he wanted to pull away, that was fine too. Jaehyun just wanted Taesan to be happy and comfortable, even if he had to watch from afar.
During the live, he tried to concentrate, tried to talk to the fans and share updates and TMI, but Dongminie's presence was too strong, too close — from time to time he caught himself stuttering and blushing, and the worst part was, when he looked at Dongmin, the bastard was having fun!
So this was how Sungho felt? Ah, Dongmin really lives to bother others. But that's okay, Jaehyun liked that bother, even if he wouldn't admit it — but it was better not to get too used to it, Taesan would keep them apart again, it was only a matter of time.
