Summary
Jaehyun’s plans for this semester were simple: win the argument with Taesan about whether Spider-Man and Mary Jane’s upside-down kiss is romantic, pass his cellular biochemistry class, go on at least one decent date with Taesan, save the city from imminent chaos and not reveal his secret identity while doing all of the above.
He never expected that saving the city would be easier than winning someone’s heart when their dates are constantly interrupted, or that the upside-down kiss would take up more space in his mind than his latest assignment for the 8 a.m. class.

Summary
“Because I want to be taken care of, okay?” Taesan huffs, shy as he confesses something that wouldn’t be said out loud if he was in his right mind. “Just for tonight, can you pretend you like me like you used to in the past?”
“I can’t, because I don’t like you like I used to.” Jaehyun admits, a half-truth that Taesan doesn’t need to know. “I don’t think I’ll ever like you like I used to.”
“Okay,” he sighs, lips in a thin line. Taesan looks defeated, broken-hearted, exactly like Jaehyun wants him to feel. “Can you pretend to tolerate me, then?”
The first time was an accident, the second time was payback from the first, and all the other times are for unknown reasons. Jaehyun should hate Taesan, but he has the feeling that fucking someone that you supposedly hate isn't something reasonable.

One of the first things you realise when you become an idol is that no matter what, you are bound to hear rumours. About yourself. Your members. The company you're in. Even about your own family, if you're really unlucky. It won't matter if you're BTS famous or nugu, rumours will circulate.
"Even if there's a sliver of truth in it, never believe any headlines."
Or: Taesan didn't pay attention to rumours. But Jaehyun is getting further away, and whispers spread about their bond. Taesan is forced to face the distance he’s created, and how his silence may have hurt the person he cares about most.
