Work Text:
Apo was so excited she was practically bouncing. Today, the local theatre was airing a behind-the-scenes documentary about her number-one favourite idol: Princess Soluna. And to make it even better, her best friend and long-time crush, Cherri, had agreed to go and watch it with her. Which for Cherri was quite unusual, as she didn’t seem to be interested in Soluna. Every time Apo had invited her in the past whether it was for a concert or to watch a live interview or anything of the sort Cherri had always said she had to work. Apo’s running theory is that it just wasn’t her thing, and she was too sweet to tell Apo that. So it was extra exciting when Cherri not only agreed to come but actually was the one offering to go, she got the tickets and all. This was going to be great.

Cherri really wasn’t sure how she ended up in this situation, the documentary was about to be aired and she knew for a fact that there were a few short scenes in it where her makeup wasn’t fully done and her hair wasn't fully styled. Now a normal person probably wouldn’t be able to recognise her as her like that, but Apo definitely should with how often they hung out. Honestly, Cherri was surprised that she hadn’t figured it out by now, it was kinda pathetic if she was honest, which made it even more endearing. God why did she have to have a thing for loser girls? And Apo definitely was a queen among them.
