    Husk is an explorer known for preferring the thrill of the adventure to the prize. It's such a shame that all of his latest quests have been so boring! (Or maybe the quests have nothing to do with that.) Maybe things will be different once he gets his claws on the Vessel of Senses, an ancient artifact that's said to have the power to alleviate all suffering.

    It's also said that the artifact is guarded by a bloodthirsty spider monster, and that the most effective way to survive him is to wear him down.

    That's what a spider monster tells him, with a big smile and a great interest. So much so that Husk is handed a spider gag that, the spider monster is absolutely sure about it, will be very useful.

    And maybe yes, things really will be different in that forest.

    Especially if Husk will survive.
