Teenxian ignoring at certain Lan during the Cloud Recess lectures, because Teensang told him :
NHS : If you want someone to pay attention to you, you must ignore them! Then they will realize they have lost something, and will come running to you!
Teenxian employs this very handy advice because he desperately needed the guy he liked (A bit more than simply friends) to pay attention to him!… Except, it’s not that handy.
This is because Teenji seemingly doesn’t not give a fuck about Teenxian ignoring him!
One after, Teenxian is grumbling about having ignored Teenji all throughout his punishment in the library, and Teenji didn’t even care! 😭
This just went to show that Teenji didn’t care about him!!
Teenxian was wallowing in self-pity, because how could Lan Zhan ignore me!? I thought we were friends!
Then he overhears Teenji talking with Lan Xichen.
LWJ : Brother… I think I have upset someone…
Teenxian blinked, then grinned. Yes! I knew it! He does care!
LWJ (continues) : I don’t know how or why, but I really… I really want to get them to forgive me.
Teenxian’s heart melted. Awww
Lan Xichen simply smiled at his brother’s misery.
LXC : How about coming clean to them, and telling them this, and how it is hurting your feelings.
Teenji nodded, seemingly determined to do something important. Teenxian was confused. Come clean about what!? What has he done to truly hurt my feelings!?
The next day, in the library. Teenxian has waited the ENTIRE TIME for Teenji to do something but he… didn’t! He just sat there, calm as a cat!
As punishment was over, Teenxian got up to leave in a huff when a firm hand grasped his wrist and pulled him down. He yelped, and two bodies went crashing to the floor.
He looked up at Teenji, whose ears were flushed. If you touched them, they’d be hot to the touch.
WWX : Lan… Zhan??
They quickly got up, with Teenxian leaning into Teenji’s space, who was leaning away, ears still red. Teenxian couldn’t help himself and reached out to touch them, grinning.
WWX : So hot…
He grinned wider when Teenji refused to look at him.
LWJ : Wei Ying…I have something to say.
Teenxian froze. He knew what was coming, but… why so serious. He immediately got the feeling that if he did not start behaving he would end up really hurting Teenji’s feelings.
And he would never do that.
He sat up straight, and angled his body to look directly at Teenji, who took a deep breath.
LWJ : Wei Ying… I’m in love with you!
Teenxian nodded. Right this was - WAIT WHAT!?
His mind blue-screened. What did Teenji mean by LOVE HIM!?
His feelings were… reciprocated?!
Clearly, Teenji thought Teenxian did not like him back, and quickly got up robes fluttering. But this time, it was Teenxian who grabbed his wrist (How had Teenji wrapped his hand around his wrist, but Teenxian could not do the same for him!) and pulled him down.
Once again, they fell into a pile of bodies, Teenxian under Teenji.
They simply look at each other.
LWJ : Wei Ying…
Teenxian did not let him go any further. He wrapped his arms around his broad shoulders, and brought him down for a chaste kiss.
There. That should be answer enough.
And if the next day, Teenxian had “bug bites” all over his neck, that was nobody's business but his and Teenji’s! 😃
