Summary
When Alastor agreed to marry Lucifer, he was expecting to gain influence, importance, and a healthy dose of independence.
He wasn't expecting a set of irksome in-laws.
With his new title as prince consort (re-designation to king still in the works), Alastor now has royal duties to attend to. He expected his honeymoon to be a lazy few weeks with Lucifer at the Manor, indulging in whatever might take their fancy. But they need to take their honeymoon on the road. Or to be more accurate: through the Rings.
As the newest royal couple in Hell, the Sins are expecting to host them for a week at a time, to show them their sights and culture, to meet the new prince consort (seeing as they weren’t invited to the wedding) – and his new status comes with the privilege of inter-Ring travel for Alastor. Yippee.
With all manner of commitments – bloodsports, wine tastings, shopping trips, performances – Alastor comes to realise that whilst the trappings of royalty may have been exciting at first, all he wants to do is spend time with his new husband. This is their honeymoon, after all.
They will fight, they will make up, but at the end of the day– will their new marriage survive these demands?
