Summary
Ma waves at Frank and says, "Hey there! Welcome to the neighborhood!" all loud and booming.
Frank stops and stares at Ma with big eyes. He looks like he's about to be rung up and tied to the hood of a 1500. Frozen and afraid. He shifts his eyes down to me for a millisecond before picking up his dog and pushing through the front door.
Ma chokes out a laugh through the smoke and hits me on the shoulder. She says, "See? An anti-social just like you."
