Work Text:
Crowley took a sip of his drink, he’d been sitting back watching Sam as he and the lovesick puppy interacted. Crowley sat forward setting his drink down, glancing at Castiel, and back at Sam. “You know, Moose, I am not against sharing. The more the merrier, surely I can join you and whatever weird relation you have to the sad angel.”
Sam’s eyes narrowed and he didn’t even move his head, he just glared and held that distaste for a minute before speaking. It enthralled Crowley, which is the opposite of what Sam was aiming for, “Not even in my worst nightmares, Crowley.”
Crowley chuckled, “Of course not, clearly it’d be in your best dreams.”
“Sam is taken,” Castiel said, his voice booming as he said it. Crowley saw sparks come out of the lights. It was always so cute when the angel lost control like that. Crowley was half expecting to see Castiel’s wings flare up to add to the dramaticness of his statement.
“I clearly can see that,” Crowley said, “but I do not see why I cannot join. Sam does in fact have two hands.” Crowley pointed out, picking up his drink and sipping it. Savoring the glares sent his way by the two.
Sam rolled his eyes so far back, Crowley was convinced he saw Hell within his vision, “My hands are occupied by Castiel and Eileen.” Sam said, his voice firm and clearly meant to be final.
Crowley leaned forward with a smile, and glanced at Castiel, “Well, Feathers, you have two hands as well, and thousands of eyes. Clearly you can withstand the capacity of one more.”
Castiel's wings moved behind him in annoyance, rigid and shuffling behind him like he was trying to suppress the urge to raise them high. Crowley wondered if Sam could see them within the shadows, it was a very entertaining sight. “My hands are full, Crowley. That capacity is full with Sam and Meg.” Castiel said.
Crowley sighed, “Of course they are.” However, Crowley did not see it as a total shut down as there was still another individual who had been watching the entire interaction, reading the words and not hiding her amusement one bit. Crowley teleported to sit in front of her, his head resting upon his hand, “And I suppose, Darling, that despite you having two hands as well, that you are occupied with these disasters?”
Eileen raised her eyebrows, surprised but amused that he had turned his flirting tactics towards her, she leaned forward, “My hands are always occupied,” She signed and spoke. Crowley chuckled. “And yes, they’re mostly occupied by Sam. Sometimes Castiel, but if not him, it would be Meg.”
Crowley nodded, figuring as much. He glanced at Meg who had been glaring daggers into him the entire time he’d been there, and told her, “It’s not worth asking you. I am not that desperate for an in.”
Meg shifted her body, and leaned forward, her hands possessively laying upon Eileen and Castiel, “As if you had a chance.”
Crowley rolled his eyes, “Save the possessiveness for someone else. If they took in a stray like you, clearly, I have more of a chance than I had previously thought.” And with that he snapped and disappeared out of the bunker, and the four glanced at each other.
“We all agree, he is not joining us, right?” Sam asked, and got a resounding, “Yes.”
