    Wally and Dick go on a training retreat. Just the two of them. Wally’s only goal for the trip was to keep his expectations realistic. It would have been too much to hope that Dick might suddenly fall deeply and madly in love with him. But a guy can still dream, right?

    However, Wally soon finds himself struggling to just stay alive while trapped with a thing that looks frighteningly like his friend. Because surely– that can't be Nightwing.

    Wally could see where the escrima sticks left trails of red along the wall. Red that was probably his blood. And then Dick was crouching down, a gentle tilt to his head with a look so familiar it caused pangs of involuntary longing to go through Wally. Dick reached out, using just the pads of his fingers to tilt Wally's head further up. Wally's eyelids fluttered open. He startled back when he locked eyes with Dick's.

    Dick looked– wrong.
