Summary
A world much like ours diverged at a crucial point. At a certain point in the late 90s there emerged a large number of Anthros. Though the world did its best to exist peacefully with these new creatures many mistakes were made and.... after a series of unfortunate events the Anthros formed their own state, the Anthrostate. The following decades saw a series of conflicts that slowly pushed human states to the brink of destruction or outright annihalation. But the Anthrostate was not invincible and so, many ceasefires occurred so that they could regroup and build their strength.
Slowly but surely, they have grown and taken more and more land with the knowledge that total conquest is not a possibility but an eventuality though humanity is hardly going to roll over without a fight. One human in particular, a human male born in the Anthrostates is going to have to face this opposition. Will he join in this resistance and fight against the homeland that oppresses him? Flee to a surviving human state and bide his time? Or will he serve the Anthrostate faithfully and root out any and all dissidents? Vincent is no fighter but rebellions live on the dreams of non-combatants.
