Work Text:
"Ms. Parker," Tony greets as he enters her apartment. He walks over and takes her hand. pressing a kiss to the back.
His lips linger against her skin until she pulls it away, chuckling. "What's gotten into you today?"
"Just showing my affection." Tony pouts a little. "What, am I not allowed to anymore?"
"Now you're putting words in my mouth. Please, show all the affection you'd like."
Tony is more than willing to take her up on that, he decides. Worryingly enough, he thinks he'd do just about anything if it means getting to see that smile more often.
It's rare for Tony and May to really have time together like this.
Peter's sleeping over at Ned's again. (Tony's starting to suspect he's been out so much to try and give them alone time. Very sweet of the kid, if his hunch is correct. Unexpected of a teenage boy.)
Tony sighs, fond, as he watches May. They're watching a movie tonight. Tony doesn't even remember what she chose, he's been too focused on her. Her reactions, the little smiles she gives him every time she looks over.
Tony smiles, pressing a kiss to her temple. He lingers a little, as he always does.
Tony Stark is the luckiest man in the world. He has to be, to have deserved all of this.
He laughs, watching May fan away the smoke as she opens the oven. She had been making something before he got here. Apparently he'd distracted her.
"How about instead of laughing at me, go open the windows?" May asks, pulling out a baking dish full of what just looks like straight char.
"Of course, dear," Tony replies. He leans in to press a quick kiss to her cheek, lingering until she shoos him.
May sighs, leaning back into Tony's hands.
She'd just gotten off work and Tony had surprised her with dinner. Not homecooked, obviosuly, he's not trying to kill her after all. They've eaten, and now Tony's giving her a massage.
"So, I was thinking," Tony mutters, because frankly the silence was killing him, "we should take a vacation."
May hums.
"We could go to Rome or something." Tony's hands slide down from her shoulders, running over her clothed back. "Just the two of us. Just take a weekend or something." He kisses between her shoulders, then the back of her neck. "Wouldn't that be fun?"
"Hey, beautiful." Tony presses a kiss to May's lips. He pulls back for a second—maybe less, actually—just long enough to look at her before kissing her again.
Laughing, May brings her hands up to cup his face, gently pushing him an inch away from her. "Good evening to you too, handsome."
"Oh, it is a very good evening." Tony tries to lean in again, only to find himself stopped by her hands. He whines a little, putting on his best pout. "C'mon, baby, just one more."
May rolls her eyes, but slides her hands back down his chest. "One more."
Tony groans as he wakes up, the heaviness of sleep slowly fading away.
There's a weight on top of him. If not for the fact he remembers being at May's apartment, he probably would have panicked about that, instead he just grins, big and lazy.
He feels a kiss pressed to his forehead. Then his left cheek, then the right. His nose is next. And finally May kisses his lips. It's soft, slow. Tony's still getting used to that.
His grin somehow widens as he finally peeks an eye open.
"Good morning," May whispers before kissing him again.
