The Physics of Paper

Neither Chris, nor his father could understand why Buck just smiled when Chris announced he had to explain and show the structure and strength of simple things. Especially when he just brought over a pad of squared paper. Then proceeded to blow their minds by showing how the simple folding of those papers had given NASA the ideas for the next satellite solar panels that folded up when going into space and then extended out when they were needed. And showed him the pattern in his own folds to pictures he had gotten from Karen. 

Then went onto show the strength of other folds to hold weight they shouldn’t, and how those folds had inspired building and bridge engineers with even more pictures.
Then began to slowly show how each of them could do their own folds as he further folded them into a family.
