Summary
Melissa King has spent her entire childhood trailing three years behind Frank Langdon.
He is her best friend’s older brother, her 'knight' and the person she trusts to notice everything she cannot bring herself to say. Somewhere between daisy chains, long summers and a borrowed leather jacket, he becomes something more.
Then, just before Frank leaves for Med school, they cross a line neither of them knows how to uncross.
Frank moves away and Mel stops calling. Years pass, and he builds a life with somebody else while she tries to forget the one night that changed everything between them.
Until Mel begins working at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center alongside her best friend Trinity and discovers that Frank is there too.
