This is based on the gif by bruddha731 on tumblr, about how it looks like Rozanov is saying ‘I did it, Mama’ in Russian in that clip of him holding the cup.

Ilya Rozanov is my favorite hockey player, I have a poster of him on my bedroom wall! I thought this was an interesting thing to explore the way he dealt with being knocked out of the Sochi Olympics in his home country, and what he has said before about his family.

I appreciated all the love on my previous fics! I’m a little embarrassed to post this, but I wanted to try writing a little romance. Blushed a little writing this, my mom asked me what was wrong and I had to pretend I was being very normal, haha.

Hey guys, this is my first time writing Shane Hollander x Ilya Rozanov. Or… writing something a little more explicit. This is a very embarrassing experience. Thank goodness nobody I know in real life is following this account.

This is how I cope while waiting for Boston to play Montreal again. I found this old clip of Hollander and Rozanov presenting the sportsmanship award all the way back in 2011. The way Rozanov tugs him a little closer, the way Hollander gets flustered… this is what my brain immediately went to. Maybe I need help.

Sorry for the delay, I fractured my wrist during a school hockey match last week and it’s been in a cast, so I had to write this one-handed! I hope you all enjoyed it.

I have also upgraded the rating to Explicit. Writing smut is still new to me so I welcome any feedback!

Although I’m a Rozanov fan first and foremost, I’m so excited that Montreal won the cup this season! In fact, I was so excited when I watched the final game that I knocked over my drink onto my computer and crashed it in the middle of writing this chapter. I had to rewrite it but now it’s done!

Another cup for Montreal! So sad for Boston, but Hollander deserves it.

This chapter was almost late because I had to get my grades up for my maths class to stay on my school hockey team. Normally I’m much better about my grades but between watching games, writing this story, and working out, I must’ve let them slip. My latest report card made the cut, though!

heeeeeey gueyssss so i got my wisdom teeth taken out this morninggg and then when my mom was taking me home i saw the news abt hollander getting with rose landry and i was soooooo saddddd like i knew hollanov wasnt gonna be real but stilll hurts to see ur dream shattered and then i took out my feelings on rovanoz i hope you likeeee

I hope you’ve all been enjoying your holiday season, if you celebrate! I’ve been sick at home with very bad case of tonsillitis, and my doctor said I will need surgery to remove them next week. But I was so excited to post this chapter so I couldn’t miss this upload. I can’t wait to see Hollander and Rozanov play together at the All-Stars game, it will be as I am recovering from surgery so I can watch all the hockey I want.

Sorry this is late, I got a concussion a month ago from a game and haven’t been able to look at screens. But it did inspire this chapter where Rozanov visits Hollander after his injury in March… maybe it’s weird, but it made me feel better to think about Hollander having the same injury as me, haha.

Rozanov in Ottawa? 2 hours away from Montreal? After starting a charity with his archrival? There is no straight explanation for this.

I’m once again late to post, sorry. My family took a vacation to hike the Scandinavian Mountains, where I almost got lost, and I didn’t have Wi-Fi for a whole week. But I am now back in civilization.

Glad I could make this post on time! For some reason my laptop logged out of all of my accounts and I couldn’t remember my AO3 password for awhile. But I was able to get in with the help of some very kind staff volunteers.

I have some big news… I will be moving to Canada soon for a professional opportunity! I will be moving from Switzerland in September. I’ve been so excited (and nervous!!!) that I haven’t been able to eat or sleep for days, so I typed up this chapter to celebrate.

This also means I will be writing less chapters for the foreseeable future since I will focus my time on training and packing. And I may have less time to respond to comments. I hope you can understand. Thank you for your comments and kudos as always!

This one was much more introspective than usual. I guess I’m thinking about how much my life has changed since I moved to Canada from Europe—learning to live in this new country, navigating many (embarassing) cultural differences, and trying to earn my place in my new team. I maybe projected a little onto Rozanov. It’s definitely had its ups and downs, but I am hopeful that 2020 will be a good year.

But this fic and your comments have been such a consistent source of positivity in this uncertain time for me, and I wanted to channel that into this chapter to celebrate reaching 100K+ words. As always, thanks so much for your comments and kudos.

It’s the 6 year anniversary of this fic! I can’t believe I’ve been writing it for so long. Even though I’m not super fast or consistent about posting, I’m so grateful that so many of you have stuck along for the ride.

In a big coincidence, I received some very great news today about my professional opportunity in Canada. I will be staying full time for the foreseeable future!

To celebrate, I got maybe a little too drunk last night with my teammates and accidentally deleted this whole chapter without knowing it when I got home. Thankfully, I was able to recover it this morning by restoring the previous version. Now my head hurts.

Hi everyone! It’s been awhile. Sorry this chapter is late. I was traveling over the weekend and my plane almost crashed, it lost an engine mid-air but thankfully we landed safely and everyone is ok. But I was writing this chapter with the plane wifi so I lost half of my edits and had to rewrite it.
