Summary
Hajime Iwaizumi had been best friends with Tohru Oikawa for as long as he remembered, but that didn't prevent Oikawa from hiding his plans to move out of the country from him. It's been eighteen months since they spoke, and Iwaizumi is trying his best to forget and focus on his job. After all, fires aren't going to put themselves out. What good is a best friend who hides things from you, anyway?
Oikawa is back in his hometown, working at the same hospital with the same people he tried to leave behind. But when his sister called him with news that his father was sick, he had no choice but to come back. His ex has moved on, his best friend won't speak to him, and he's living in his sister's basement. But he's Tohru Oikawa, and he's not going to let this get him down for long.
