    Summary

The last sensation Wifies remembers before his body exploded is warmth.

You’d consider death to be cold.

Death. The moment your mind stills — when all rational thought is siphoned, and burnt into ash. Your body echoes the last of your consciousness, animal instinct and desperate thoughts alike. A mortal mind, confronted with the failing of its body.

Flesh. Flesh and skin that’d once lay under the sun, once cloaked beneath soft robes of white. Marked with memory incarnate — scars, littered across your arms that bring upon memories that flush your skin with the heat of remembrance. Do you remember that time we soared through the skies, as if the world below no longer existed? What can wounds remember that we cannot?

    (...)

Wifies remembers those last seconds, so deeply engraved into his being —

    And death was not cold.

When “Wifies” opens his eyes, he feels as if the sun were within his chest.

Or, Wifies rediscovering God, Hell and life alike with Hummer, after dying in Paragon.
