Ilya Rosanov is the classic life of the party, doesn’t take anything seriously RN, but is frustratingly competent - much to Shane’s annoyance. Ilya makes the ED look easy, flirting with anyone with a pulse. He has even the most intimidating of dragon nurses wrapped around his finger and he uses it to his advantage. If only he was half as happy as he pretended. Fuck.
Dr Shane Hollander is a hardworking, strait-laced (pun intended), by-the-book emergency specialist new to this hospital, but definitely not new to Ilya Rosanov. Shane has had his nose to the grindstone for years and has finally made it to consultancy. If only it felt half as good as it should and the loneliness didn’t settle so deep in his bones. It’s Rosanov’s fault. And now Rosanov is here. In his hometown. After all this time. Fuck.
