Juan suddenly pulls away, retracting his knee. “Hey, be patient. We have all day, remember?”
Foolish wants to protest, but something makes him pause- call it a gut feeling- and he decides to swallow his complaints and simply nod instead.
Juan rewards him with a dazzling smile. He releases one of his wrists to pat him on the cheek and says, “Good boy.”
