Summary
A merfolk’s kiss was poison, they’d say in hushed tones in the lamplight. A merfolk’s kiss was instant death, a sudden eternal slumber. Foolish has never really lived with other merfolk, so he’s not sure if there’s any truth to that tale. But he and Juan have kissed many, many times, and Juan is still alive and kicking, so clearly those sailors need to do a little more research.
