Summary
Isagi Yoichi is a Christian. He's understood this since he was little: God is good in all He does, God is all powerful and all loving, follow the 10 Commandments, and, above all, homosexuality is a sin. Isagi's never understood why this specific teaching stood out to him, until he turned 15 and kissed a boy. That day, Isagi discovered that the Devil can come in many different forms: a snake, a lion. But in Isagi's case, the Devil came as a teal eyed boy.
Rin Itoshi is an Atheist. He'd known this ever since his parents tried to teach him about Christianity when he was 6: it all sounded like rubbish to him, even as young as he was. It sounded like a fairy tale, not reality. His parents tried to convert him: they wanted nothing but the best for Rin, they claimed. But if the best meant hiding who he is and who he loves, Rin would rather be condemned. He just wishes Isagi thought the same.
