   Summary

   Shane was an only child and an introvert. He'd been comfortable keeping himself entertained for as long as he could remember. He liked the idea of friends, and he liked the handful he'd held onto over the years, but he didn't like the process of making them. His entire life, he'd had a single-minded focus on hockey.
