To say her despair was immeasurable is an understatement.
Kyoshi had been relaxing in the comfort of her bed, mindlessly scrolling through social media as she ate her potato chips. Until when reaching in for another chip, she felt nothing but crumbs and the bag's thin, aluminum inside. There was nothing left. She ate everything.
Her sorrow immediately starting pooling at the bottom of her stomach. "My…my chips…", she whispered, her lower lip slightly trembling. She felt her eyes beginning to water.
Suddenly, she heard the door to the room open. "Kyoshi, have you seen my—", Rangi stopped her sentence at the sight of her girlfriend in tears, "Kyoshi?" She walked towards Kyoshi, sitting beside her.
"Oh, Rangi…m-my...."
"Take your time love, what is it?"
"My..."
"Yes?"
"My chips…they're gone. I don't have any chips left. It's horrible."
"…"
"You can't be serious," Rangi's expression hardened. "But I am, Rangi! They're all gone!", Kyoshi wailed in despair. "I can't believe you! You had me so worried, seeing you in tears like that only for the issue to be—", Rangi took a deep breath and got up, leaving Kyoshi as she walked back towards the door. She left the room, slamming the door behind her.
Rangi proceeded to return 30 minutes later with a new bag of chips. HURRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
