Summary
Things were supposed to be better after leaving Arizona and his shithead father in the dust. The bruises on his ribs have barely healed before Michael's mom is bringing some man into the house with Sammy. His new "brothers" aren't exactly forthcoming with information. And somehow, the most beautiful people he's ever seen in his life all seem interested in him. It's a lot to handle.

I feel the characterizations are pretty distinct between movie and musical, and this is specifically a musical canon divergence beginning immediately after the exit from the beach massacre! Conceived as a fix-it, but as you might expect from these guys, it's not a smooth road.
