"You're still a cop," Jimin said. "I'm still in an interrogation room. There's probably people watching through that mirror right now."
"Nobody's watching."
"How do you know?"
Jeongguk's mouth curved. "Because I made sure of it before I came to get you."
The words took a moment to sink in. When they did, Jimin's pulse stuttered. "You—before you even talked to me?"
"I saw you through the window of the holding area. Sitting on that bench with your torn shirt and your angry little face, looking like you wanted to fight everyone in this building." Jeongguk's thumb pressed harder against Jimin's lip, slipping just past the wet seam of it. "I decided right then."
"Decided what?"
"That I was going to have you."
Or; Jimin’s night goes from bad to worse when it lands him behind bars. Luckily, the cop assigned to question him is hot enough to make the arrest worth it.
