Summary
A freshly 8 year old Cinder stared up at the stars through the windows above her bed, tears falling down her face. As she stared at the stars she begged the brothers to save her from her enslavement. Then, right as she was about to lay down and sleep another hungry night away there was a streak of light as a shooting star crossed the sky. Immediately Cinder closed her eyes and wished with all her soul. “Please send someone to save me. Someone to free me from this place.” then, with a sob and pleaded desperately for her heart's deepest desire. “Send me a mother who will actually care about me.” Then she realized with a panic that she had asked for more than one thing. Now she would get nothing. Horrible shame filled her as she cursed her greed. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she laid down to sleep, Madam would shock her again if she wasn’t awake in time to deliver breakfast to the guests.
Little did Cinder know that, whether through the magic of that shooting star or by sheer luck. Someone would soon arrive that would grant her wish. Summer Rose
A Cinder Rose is a Dahlia that is named such due to its dusky, muted mauve to dusky-pink color that resembles glowing cinders transitioning into a classic rose hue.
