Summary
They have been spending their heats and ruts together since they were 17, but Dazai does not realize how he treats Chuuya so differently in bed compared to his one-night stands. Dazai being Dazai has one-night stands but had decided early on that he wouldn't sleep with anyone during his rut or a person's heat because of the vulnerable state the cycle causes. However, he broke that rule only for Chuuya, with the excuse of "It's just convenient" and spent his first rut with Chuuya. A year later, 18! Dazai gets jealous after accidentally overhearing a conversation between Chuuya and Kouyou about bonding. Dazai wants to be the one Chuuya chooses to bond with but does not fully understand his feelings for him. Additionally, Dazai can't fathom the idea of Chuuya being bonded with another person, so he slowly becomes possessive and a little cold towards him.
This is the prequel to "No Distance Escapes Gravity".
