Finally, uni has started! Technically it's been a couple of days since we got back, but today was the first day with actual lessons
And omg! It's so good to be back! I know that in like a week I'm gonna be counting the days until winter break but that hasn't happened yet so I get to be excited muehehe
I get to see all my friends again, which is nice :) sure I saw them over the summer as well, but there's something different about being in the classroom with them
I forgot how intimidating the arts building is in comparison to the rest of the departments, tho. Only makes it more fun to sketch!
(Which I definitely plan to do, btw. I just... need some free time first)
I have been. SO. BUSY!!!! Past me was right, I need winter break NOW!
Sure, it's also been fun. But oh my god I can already tell my sleep schedule is screwed
On a more positive note tho, I share a lot of classes with Grian :) also a couple with Wels. Apparently he really likes castles, so we can bond over that!
But I don't have any classes with Tango, Bdubs, Scar, Pearl or Joel anymore D: it's a shame but they chose to go the integrated architecture route, so :( I thought the courses overlapped more
Lately I've been going into this cute cafe place near campus. It's a shame I didn't notice it before, because the place is stunning :) I've taken a liking to sitting inside and sketching different parts or out front and drawing the buildings nearby
This is making me want to explore more coffee shops and stuff! Who know what hidden gems are in the city that I didn't notice before? I might have to explore as much as I can in my free time
I mentioned my regular cafe to Wels a while back and he reached out so we could go together :D that was a lovely surprise
It turned a group hangout tho, which made me a little anxious that it would scare Wels. But he fit right in! So it was us 2, Joel, Pearl and Tango. Quite an unlikely group I will say
We had loads of fun :)
But also, I keep seeing this woman sitting outside. I've seen her a lot lately, with her notebook and a pencil. I wonder what she's doing (and how she's not freezing to death)
On another note, you can really tell Halloween is right around the corner. The cafe is now full of decorations! Pearl and I drew them in each other's notebook, it was really fun
She came in for the first time :O I wasn't expecting it for some reason
The cafe is doing something for Halloween (I think some kind of bingo?). I know bc I signed up a couple of days ago. But she came in today and also signed up!
So I guess I'll be seeing her :)
I don't know when i got so invested. It just... happened, I guess.
Happy Halloween! It's like 7pm rn and I just wanted to write a bit here before leaving for Grian's party
Bingo at the cafe went great! (even if I didn't win anything lol) It was honestly very calm but fun, and she was there again! I didn't learn her name, but she sat quite close to my table. I'm pretty sure she dressed up as a zombie, because she had her face painted green and fake blood on her clothes. She's prettier up close
Yes I might be developing a crush. No I will not talk about it. I don't even know her! It feels like a celebrity crush, kinda
Anyways! I'M going as a PIRATE! :D not very scary, but pretty cool if I do say so myself. I just came home to drop off some stuff and touch up my makeup. Impulse and Skizz are picking me up on their way there.
I'm so. Hungover :( I didn't even drink that much D:
Party was very fun tho! Etho told me about his and Bdubs' friend that I apparently remind him of. He says I would get along with them, but he thinks I can get along with anyone, so
I'm so grateful I don't have class today
Ok so I feel like I need to write this down bc. WHAT?
Pretty woman from the cafe draws a lot. I know that. I study at HCAU, where people study art. Pretty woman ALSO studies at HCAU.
Honestly, I should have made the connection earlier
I might talk to her if I ever see her at campus, but I think she has afternoon classes :(
Mystery cafe artist is no longer a mystery!
Their name is Cleo, they study sculture at HCAU and apparently I'm their muse :)
I finally had the courage to approach her at the cafe, mentioned that I saw them drawing and around campus, and we got talking. I had SO MUCH FUN with her! We got along better than I imagined, and I gave her a drawing of her with my number on the paper before I left
Then we started texting, and I met her on campus and she showed me her scultures, and omg I think this might actually go somewhere!
I'm genuinely so excited and happy when I talk to them, I feel like a highschool girl with her first crush lol. It's getting ridiculous.
But! We're going to the cafe again later today. Apparently she gets out of class earlier on Fridays, so we're going together (!!!!!) I'm pretty sure it's a date. It feels like one
Anyways I gotta finish getting ready. Grian and Pearl are here acting as support (and from stopping me from listening to Chappell Roan while I do my makeup. They're giving me gossip instead)
