   Summary

   Dedra Meero's future looks bleak.

   In an ISB holding cell, stripped of everything she built her life around, she has little reason to believe she'll ever walk free again. Just as she's ready to give up hope, an unexpected second chance presents itself—one that comes with a price.

   She needs to disappear. Leave everything behind. Start over somewhere no one will think to look. But escaping the Empire is only the beginning.

   What follows is a journey neither Dedra nor the person waiting at the other end of it could have anticipated.

   Starting from Chapter 2, the story is mainly told from the Reader's POV. I'll try to post weekly—all chapters are written (45k words).
