Summary
She woke up in the middle of nowhere with no memories, not simply of who she was, but of how the world worked. She had no childhood to remember, no culture that felt like her own, and no understanding of the ordinary things that everyone else used in their day-to-day without a second thought. She was completely deracinated, cut off from every root that might have told her where she came from or who she was supposed to be.
It was a good thing, then, that the Nameless simply refused to give up on her.
Or: An exploration of what it means to be a person when your past has been completely taken away, and whether a life can still become meaningful when you have no roots, only a road ahead of you.
