   Summary

   Shane, driven by a desire to prove he can accomplish something beyond surviving the accident that ended his career as a restoration architect, has returned to the house that caused it fuelled almost entirely by spite.

   He’s going to fix this house. It’s a monumental project, his biggest to date - a nineteenth century Gothic mansion that also happens to be fucked in every conceivable way possible. Half of it is flooded, there’s rot in the walls, holes in the roof, and he’s pretty sure it has rats.

   Either way, his plan is simple: fix the house up (and possibly burn it down afterwards), ignore the endless voicemails from his concerned friends and family, then...he’ll figure out what’s next when he gets there.

   Unfortunately Ilya, a local carpenter with a key he hadn’t known existed, has decided Shane needs his help. That’s pissing him off too.
