Work Text:

Oh my god, that's her.

The bell at the entrance to the cafe chimed, and a nun walked in the front door. Soft brown curls, wide brown eye, more gorgeous leg than you'd even think you should see from a nun, and a wimple to top it all off.

What the hell is she doing here? Is she here to see me?

Fibag dropped the rag she'd been using to wipe down the counter, brushed the crumbs under her fingernails against her ass, and quickly tucked her blonde hair behind her ears.

"Sister, hi! How nice of you to stop by."

The sister was studying the walls with a vague fascination and turned at the greeting.

"Oh, Fibag, hi! I didn't know you worked here."

Bollox. Not here to see me, then.

"Oh yeah, I mean, I don't. I own it actually."

The sister (Fibag tended to think of her as thr Hot Nun) gave a half smile and lifted a brow. "Oh! I didn't know you owned a cafe either."

"Well, now you do!" Yeah, no shit Captain Obvious.

"What's with the erm—decor?" Hot Nun's half smile was now a proper smirk.

"It's a hamster cafe."

"Yeah I can see that, why do you run a hamster themed cafe?"

"No. Like a cat cafe. It's a cafe with hamsters."

This felt like the first real grin Fibag had ever actually seen from The Hot Nun.

"Really?"

***

Fibag was watching the Hot Nun nuzzle a hamster to her face while they sat across from each other at one of the cafe tables. Hypothetically Fibag had a job to be doing that wasn't flirt with the clientele but, it wasn't like there were any other customers in here anyway. She might as well enjoy it.

She and the Hot Nun had run across each other a few time since the Hot Nun had moved to town. There was just something about her; to Fibag, she seemed more—real—or normal than other people she had met before involved in the church. When she talked to Fibag it felt like she was talking to a human, not a figure head. And she was so hot. Fibag wanted her. The whole forbidden fruit thing was definitely adding to it.

The Hot Sister was looking at her like she had just missed a question. "Sorry, what?"

"I said why hamsters?"

"Oh, no reason really…" She was not going to get into the whole hamster breeding back story with this woman if she wanted a chance to get into her habit. Better to stay cool and mysterious.

The Hot Nun was just looking at her, prompting.

What the hell does she want now? Do I have something on my face? This woman can never just let me be, it's like she's always trying to drag out one more layer.

"Where are you going?" the sister asked.

What? "What?"

"You get this look on your face, like you're somewhere else. Like there's another conversation happening that I can't hear."

Well she thinks she's some sort of therapist doesn't she.

"There you go again!" The hot Nun jerked forward in her seat, spinning her head around like trying to find a hidden observer.

"Oh my god, shut up! Why do you ask so many questions?"

"I want to get to know you."

"Well there's nothing to get to know." Fibag snapped, then regretted. She sighed, "I mean, I'm just not very interesting."

The Hot Nun bit her lip, then passed the hamster back to Fibag. "I think you should let me decide that for myself. I should go."

Fibag signed. "I'm sorry Sister. Thank you for coming in."

She was bringing the hamster to it's cage in the back when she heard a soft cough from the front. She turned to look.

"Maybe we could get a drink some time. Try again."

Fibag smiled. Got her. "I didn't know a woman married to God was allowed to drink."

The Hot Nun smiled back at her, "I'm just not a very good wife."

Notes:
