Summary
Everybody knows how this season of *Ready, Set, Love* is supposed to end: Helmeppo will choose Sanji, Sanji will choose him back, their perfect marriage will give the country exactly the future it has been promised, and millions of people will watch it happen while pretending choice had anything to do with it.
Koby has spent most of his life losing to Sanji, but he has also spent most of it loving Helmeppo, and when the man who has never been allowed to want anything for himself enters the most carefully controlled show in the country, Koby decides that this time he will not stand aside. Unfortunately, a rigged love story is only the smallest lie holding the Farm’s glittering world together—and once twenty contestants, five Gentlemen and one increasingly furious audience begin pulling at its seams, the whole beautiful thing may finally burst open.
Warnings are spoilery, so I put them at the end.
