Summary
'Huh? What the heck could this be?’ Naruto gets onto his knees and searches for it until he takes it out the bush and forces it infront of his face. He recognises it's a book, quite scratched from getting dragged under the bush and a corner seems bent up. He is almost disappointed it wasn't a cool weapon or some secret scroll but looks eerily similar to the book his sensei has.
Feeling the textured paper with his fingertips, he flips around and sees the cover, which is completely plain orange with medium sized black lettering and some punchy comic style red letters.‘Naru..Sasu..?’ Naruto mumbles out as he swipes the layer of dirt to reveal the last part of the title, ‘An exciting ninja story? Lots of action confirmed?’ a hasty sound stopped his track of thoughts.
Or: Naruto accidentally finds a 'Narusasu' fanfiction book after it somehows falls out of the sky.
He knows it’s fake. He knows it’s ridiculous. Needless to say, he is traumatized. But he also can't seem to put it down—and Sasuke is starting to wonder why Naruto keeps staring at his mouth during training.
