(a rewrite of my previous work!)
sans brings home a machine. it malfunctioned, tore holes through reality, and dragged in his counterparts from places that he shouldn’t have business knowing existed.
so when the machine activates on its own once more, he heaves a sigh and slumps down, mentally kicking the bucket. nothing surprises him anymore; the machine convulses like it always does and he expects another version of him to tumble out. he gets his speech ready and—
oh. it’s a human.
