The Windy City

Summary:

Craig Tucker comes back from Chicago expecting to reconnect with his old friends—and maybe his ex.

Instead, Stan wants him. Kenny wants him. Tweek never stopped wanting him.

Now half of South Park is treating Craig’s love life like The Bachelor, and Craig just wants to know when everyone got so fucking weird.

Chapter 1: Prologue

Chapter Text

Tweek Tweak was twelve years old when his boyfriend Craig Tucker moved away.

His Dad received a job transfer to Chicago, the “Windy City” and he was devastated. But what was he supposed to do? He didn’t know.

Craig said they could do long distance. He squeezed his hand reassuringly. Tweek listened.

But as long distance relationships go it proved to not stick very long. Craig’s communication got sporadic until eventually he called him one day and said it would be best if they saw other people.

Tweek was heartbroken. But at the same time…he was always thinking about the worst case scenarios. So it wasn’t a surprise.

Years go by. The blonde hangs out with their-his-friends and tries to deal with his anxiety.

His anxiety is still off the wall. But Tweek started using cigarettes to combat it. If Craig was here he’d probably say that stimulations do the opposite of ease stress. But he’s not here.

He ends up befriending the goth kids. They aren’t super close but they speak in the smoking corner.

One day he gets asked about Craig. Micheal was exhaling his cigarette. When he was done he looked at him.

“Tucker is your ex, right? Henri swears she saw him swarmed by all the Justin Bieber and Britany Spears wannabes earlier.” he said casually.

                      What?

Tweek asked for more details. Immediately tried to find Craig. His mouth dropped. His ex boyfriend was still cute-jet black hair with calm grey eyes-but he was shorter than he expected. His smile was more gentle. Stan Marsh was talking animatedly with him. Kenny McCormick was eyeing him up and down.

              ……Huh?

“Nice to have you back, Craig. You interested in cheering us on during our games?” inquired Stan.

Kenny gave Stan a look which Stan ignored with a wide grin. He put his arm around Craig’s shoulder.

“Or maybe you’d like to chill with us tonight. I got enough kunja to go around.” said Kenny.

Craig blinked. A light blush went on his fair cheeks. He didn’t say anything for a couple moments.

              What the fuck?

              Is he in the Matrix?

“Uh, yeah, I can do that.” mumbled the smaller boy.

Stan grinned. Kenny winked. Craig looked back and forth between the two of them.

Tweek could only watch with wide eyes as they walked away and into the school.
