Summary
“Oh Spock, you had a dream! That is wonderful.”
“What is a dream, mom?”
“It comes from your soulmate. We've never talked about soulmates before, haven’t we?”
In which when someone is born, their soulmate has their dreams and vice versa, until they both meet. At this moment they have their own dreams back. If one of them dies, the other will never dream again. And in this universe, like so many others, James T Kirk and Spock are soulmates even though they are not going to know it before a long time.
