Chapter Text
Oscar wasn’t really sure what he was doing in the lecture theatre, listening to some random professor he’d never seen before talk about aerodynamics and wind or something.
He had come home from his study day in the library later than planned, but then again it was his fault for leaving all his coursework to the last minute. That damn history degree waited for no man. And just as he had stepped through the door into his student flat, Logan had appeared and ambushed him. Something about a small talk for the physics students, having no friends, and free food.
Oscar had perked up at the words ‘free food’ since he felt he’d rather gouge out his own eyes than cook in that moment, and agreed to join Logan. What he didn’t know was that ‘free food’ meant a handful of chips on the smallest plate known to man before sitting and listening to an actual seminar about mechanics.
He kept looking over at Logan, wishing he could shake the boy and yell, asking why he’d taken Oscar to the most boring place on planet Earth. Unfortunately, each time Oscar looked, Logan looked almost equally as bored, his laptop’s google doc laying empty on the small desk space.
Oscar kicked lightly at Logan’s foot, and shot the guy a disgruntled look. Logan merely shrugged back, before typing a quick message on his long discarded google doc.
‘theres meant to be a guest speaker idk when tho’
Hands reaching out as soon as he’d read the note, Oscar clicked away harshly.
‘are you sure this isn’t a science experiment to see how bored people can get before they shrivel up and die?? why did you drag me here i don’t care about a guest speaker this is why i take history!!’
It was a long, and painfully unhappy message that was greeted by a huffed laugh from Logan. Oscar shook his head, but turned back to the lecturer.
“Now, I suppose I should hand this over to the man you all came for,” He said, to which none of the students perked up. Oscar swore he could hear slight snoring from behind him. Still, the lecturer rattled on. “Please give a warm welcome to Mr. Lando Norris,”
Suddenly, clapping erupted across the hall, causing Oscar to almost jump right out of his seat. Logan was clapping with a wide grin, it was like someone had just injected coffee into his veins. Oscar furrowed his brow, finally registering what the professor had said to have caused such a reaction.
He knew the name, as most people did. Lando Norris was a formula one driver, the current championship leader and Logan’s personal absolute idol. There had been many Sunday nights were their housemates had dragged the pair of them out to some bar or club, and Logan had stuck by Oscar the entire time, talking his ear off about the last Grand Prix. However, that did not mean Oscar knew what Lando particularly looked like.
So maybe he had the wind knock out of his lungs slightly as a young, tanned guy with cute ringlets covering his head leaped up to the lectern as the professor stepped away.
“Right, well, hello everyone!” He looked up and Oscar could swear the driver had the bluest eyes he’d ever seen. “I’m Lando Norris, I drive for the Mclaren Mastercard Formula One team,” He explained, his croaky english accent echoing throughout the room.
Logan elbowed Oscar lightly and raised a smug brow in response to Oscar’s sudden, and extreme interest. All Oscar could do was elbow his flatmate back helplessly, before turning back to listen to Lando Norris explain whatever the lecture was about. Aerodynamics, and wind, and stuff.
Maybe listen wasn’t the right word, ogle was probably more fitting.
Oscar knew that Lando was young, since Logan had often lamented about his prime being over and him being ‘washed’, whatever that meant, when comparing himself to the racer. But maybe Oscar hadn’t really considered that the guy could be his age, give or take a few years. To be fair, he hadn’t ever considered anything about Lando Norris because he neither care for F1 nor ever thought he’d end up in the same room as an F1 driver. But alas, here he was, confronted with the unexpectedly fortunate looking man.
Unlike the lecturer, Lando had the full attention of everyone in the room as he rambled off about this and that. Oscar wasn’t even sure what he was talking about but his gaze was transfixed. He didn’t notice the way the rest of the students were furiously typing away on their laptops, nodding every so often as if everything Lando said was gospel.
It didn’t feel like it had been too long before Lando started wrapping up. “I think that covers just about everything,” Lando said, clasping his hands together brightly.
Oscar couldn’t help but feel disappointed. He glanced over to Logan, who was shutting down his laptop. His housemate sent him a knowing smile, holding up a finger as if to say ’just wait’. Luckily enough, they didn’t need to wait too long.
Lando went and sat back down, as the previous lecturer stood back up. He learned over slightly, grasping his hand over the lectern’s microphone. “Lando will be sticking around for an hour to answer any questions.
Other than that, you are free to go,” Instantly, everyone stood up. It wasn’t a lot of people, given the exclusivity of the ‘small talk’ and the fact that most of the Physic’s students were more interested in space than cars, but it was still enough to give Oscar a small shock. He felt Logan already pulling at his arm, forcing him to stand.
Chatter hummed through the hall as people began to make their way to Lando, a small line formed. “I need to go talk to him,” Logan said quietly, a twinkle in his eye as he dragged Oscar down the stairs and into the line.
Oscar rolled his eyes fondly, “I’m gonna head off then,” He turned to walk away, before Logan grabbed him again.
“What, why?” He frowned.
“I need some food, mate,” Oscar smiled, crossing his arms, “I don’t think I can survive the whole evening off of like, 7 chips,”
Logan’s frown deepened for a moment. “If you stay, I’ll pay for take out,”
Unfortunately, it was a wonderfully tempting deal to the broke Uni student with no job prospects. “Yeah, okay,” He gave in without any fight. Logan threw him a triumphant grin, and the pair shuffled forwards as the line shortened.
So, Oscar would have to face Lando Norris. Which would be fine if Oscar was a physics student, cared about Formula One, or had literally anything meaningful to say to the guy. Unfortunately, Oscar had none of those criteria. It probably would have also helped if Oscar was straight. But unfortunately again, he was not.
The line moved again, until only a handful of people stood before the driver and him (and Logan, who’d fallen silent but Oscar could tell he was bouncing off the walls internally.) and Oscar began to get nervous. It wasn’t often that he got nervous. Most of the time he was the calm one in the situation, sometimes so collected that his flatmates had accused him of having no feelings. But this was making his stomach turn slightly.
“I can literally see him!” Logan whisper-shouted in Oscar’s ear as the line shortened further, leaving only three more people between the boys and the driver.
Oscar grinned, poking fun at Logan. “Yeah, keep your pants on, mate,”
“Shut up, I’m like so calm right now,” Logan huffed, completely ignoring the fact that he’d started bouncing slightly on his feet, eyes glued forward to a small gap where Lando was visible. Oscar couldn’t capture a glimpse through the few people in front of him, and for that he was glad.
Suddenly the trio of people before Logan and Oscar peeled off, excitedly chatting together as they headed for the door. Oscar froze in place, finally greeted with the face of the driver he had previously not given a damn about. And oh god, he was even more attractive close-up.
His eyes were like actual jewels, glistening under the harsh lecture hall lighting. His skin was evenly tanned and, Oscar hadn’t been able to see it before but, a small goatee nestled gently on Lando’s chin. He smiled warmly at Logan and Oscar, and Oscar thought he might melt.
Logan leapt forward, gushing about Formula One and how much he loved Lando and admired him. Lando nodded with a closed-lip smile. Oscar didn’t move from his place.
“Hey, thanks, mate,” Lando grinned, and turned to Oscar, “You a fan too?”
Oscar stared, unable to answer. He was lucky to have such an understanding, kind roommate as Logan quickly jumped in to cover his ass.
“He couldn’t care less about F1!” Oh, never mind. Oscar grimaced slightly.
“Hey, listen!” Oscar began defending himself, eyes planted firmly on Logan in order to keep himself able to talk. And breathe. “It’s not my fault I didn’t know what you were dragging me to!”
“An unwilling participant?” Lando raised a brow.
“Mate, I am like so willing!” Oscar huffed, playing up his frustration slightly. “I’m like the most willing person on the planet,”
“And that’s why you wanted to go home early,” Logan pointed an accusing finger at Oscar.
“Some of us need sustenance to survive our day,” Oscar shrugged and turned back to Lando. “No offence, mate,”
Lando shrugged with a light giggle. It made Oscar’s stomach flip slightly. “What’s your course then? If you’re so not interested in the aerodynamics of F1,”
“Modern history,” Oscar sighed. “The bane of my existence,”
“And mine!” Logan snickered. “If I could go a whole lifetime without having to listen to one of your documentaries about the fall of the USSR, it still wouldn’t be long enough,”
“Trust me, the feeling is mutual,” Oscar nodded with a frown.
The conversation lulled momentarily, as Lando looked between the two housemates with an amused smile. Oscar noted the small gap between the driver’s two front teeth, and felt a strange warmth spread across his face. In that moment, both Logan and Lando seemed to stare at him. He cleared his throat, which had suddenly become awfully dry.
Logan was the first one to break the awkward silence. “I guess we shouldn’t keep you any longer,” An unusually strained smile played on his lips.
“Yeah, sure,” Lando nodded, “It was nice meeting you both,” He said with a wave as Logan began walking off. Oscar followed behind, sending a small wave in Lando’s direction before the pair left the hall.
“You were giving him the eyes!” Logan yelped as soon as they were left alone in the University hallway.
Oscar spluttered, eyes wide. “No I was not! He’s just… better looking than I imagined,” The pair continued walking, heading out to the courtyard.
“I mean, to be fair, he’s not… bad to look at,” Logan reasoned, “But you seemed to actually listen when he was talking about wind tunnels! He’s not that interesting,”
Oscar let out a small laugh and glanced sideways towards Logan. “Trust me, I don’t think I retained a single thing that was said,”
“Well you never look at me like that! Even when you’re trying to listen!” Logan huffed.
“Oh mate, don’t be jealous,” Oscar elbowed his housemate fondly, and with vague mocking, “No one could replace my favourite housemate,” Logan left out a small, relieved sigh. “Don’t forget, you’re paying for the takeout,”
The boys stared at each other for a beat, before ultimately falling into fits of laughter. They walked all the way back to their accommodation talking about nothing in particular. It was nice, to spend some time with one of his closest friends again, it had been a while since Oscar and Logan had actually gotten to hang out just the two of them. Still, he felt slightly guilty, as images of a gap-tooth smile, and brown curls filled his mind.
They settled on Indian takeout, eating in Oscar’s room as to not disturb the rest of the students. Oscar sat legs stretched out on his bed, watching as Logan, sat in the chair at Oscar’s desk, practically inhaled his prawn crackers.
Oscar laughed slightly, pulling up Instagram on his phone. The official university page had posted a photo, which had seemingly breach containment of just the student body. Oscar could see why.
Lando smiled brightly, standing beside a couple of what Oscar guessed was the physic department staff though he’d never seen them before. He looked good, a cropped hoodie still just below his waist with some baggy jeans held up by a thick, leather belt. Oscar mindlessly licked his lips, and read the caption.
‘Thank you to @lando for coming to do a talk with our undergraduate Physics students! The session was exciting and informative, ending with an opportunity to talk to the man himself.
Stick around tomorrow 4PM at the Jackson building to see Lando demonstrate some of the new additions to the 2026 Mclaren Mastercard F1 cars! Open to all students in our science and journalism departments. ‘
“Did you know Lando Norris is doing a demo tomorrow?” Oscar asked, still looking at his phone, “Of an F1 car?”
Logan rolled his eyes with a knowing smile, “You’re becoming a bigger fan than me!” He span the chair around, his body now fully facing the other boy. “But, of course I knew,”
Oscar let out a soft “Oh,” and said nothing more in attempt to ignore the way Logan was watching him. He swallowed. “Are you going?”
Logan rolled his eyes, kicking out a leg to prod the other boy in the shin. “I’m sure I can sneak you in somehow,”
Oscar’s composed facial expression falters, turning into a small yet excited grin. “Will you actually?”
“Yeah,” Logan nodded through a laugh. “You fanboy!”
Somehow, the sneaking in of it all goes very well. Possibly because the journalism students were all complete messes that never showed up to lectures, so it was totally plausible for there to be a student the department had never seen before show up. And that’s how Oscar ended up in a much larger lecture theatre, crawling from wall to wall with other students.
He frowned slightly, and tilted his head to the side, scanning the place as they stepped inside. “I didn’t realise it would be so busy,”
“F1 is like one of the biggest sports in the world,” Logan replied semi-helpfully.
Oscar just shrugged. “I mean, there weren’t that many people at the talk yesterday,”
“Yeah, well, I think journalism students go harder for sports than physics ones do,”
It was probably true, but Oscar still felt slightly defeated. It would be a lot harder to get Lando’s attention in a crowd like this. Oscar mentally grimaced, wondering when he had become so attention deprived that he was parasocially spiralling about a celebrity he met yesterday. It was almost embarrassing. But also, it embarrassing enough to not try.
He began weaving through the crowds of excited students, but he wasn’t really sure where to head. He travelled up the stairs and sat at the first aisle seat he saw. Logan sat beside him, squinting towards where the lectern would usually be, though the masses of students obscured it slightly.
“We’re not that far, he could see you,” He paused, “Maybe… I don’t know how good his eyesight is. I think it’s possible,”
Oscar hummed, pressing his lips firmly together. “I doubt he’ll remember us. Like, how many people must he talk to in a day? It’s gotta be a lot,” He said, doubt laced tightly through his words.
“I’m sure he doesn’t meet many history students posing as physics ones though?” Logan laughed.
“Hey! I’m a very real journalism student, thank you very much,” Oscar joked back, leaning slightly towards the other boy. “To be fair, I don’t think anyone in their right mind would choose to take Physics,”
“What does that mean!” Logan frowned playfully. “You can’t be mean to me, I’m your wingman,”
Oscar smiled lazily, but didn’t respond. An echoing voice rang out through the speakers, forcing the room into a silence.
“Please find your seats,” An older woman said from the lectern, the purple lanyard held on her neck indicating she was a member of staff.
It was almost like watching water rush from the taps. Students funnelled to the staircases either side of the room, and ushered into whatever seats they could find. Oscar watched, amused at all the Mclaren merch people had brought with them. He supposed it wasn’t too far fetched to hope that Lando could sign a few things, especially since Oscar was hoping for a lot more. Out of all of them, Oscar was possibly the most delusional. He felt his cheeks heat up with slight embarrassment.
The chatter reignited once every person found their place and the room was almost buzzing with excitement. It was in totally opposition to the hall last night’s atmosphere. Oscar quite liked it.
“This is your competition,” Logan said, mouth close to Oscar’s ear as he tried to be heard over the loud drone of exciting talking. “You better watch out,”
“Oh man,” Oscar looked around, glancing briefly at all the faces around him. He wondered briefly what Lando’s preference was. Blonde or brunette. Tall or short. Man or Woman. “I should’ve just stayed home,”
“Nah, I’m sure—“ Whatever Logan was about to use as reassurance was quickly cut off by a crackle of clapping, cheering and whistling. It made the clapping from the previous day seem like a whimper.
Lando was halfway to the lectern, smiling and waving as he wandered over. And unfortunately for Oscar, he still looked immensely appealing. A black cap was covering most of his head, but Oscar caught a few stray curls peeking out from the edge. In fact, all of his outfit was black; a black t-shirt and some black jeans. The only thing that stood out against the dark outfit was a pair of orange trainers, hidden beneath the bottom’s of his baggy jeans. Still, the outfit was enough to make Oscar forget to breathe for a moment.
The clapping and cheering practically faded away as Oscar watched the man, he slowly felt like they were the only people in the room. He licked his lips nervously, and clasped his hands tightly together in his lap. This was ridiculous, he was being ridiculous. Oscar brought himself back to reality and Lando began talking.
“Hello everyone,” He started, instantly being greeted by waves of cheering, “Ahh, Thank you— um,” Lando said through giggles and gripping the lecture with both hands. “If you don’t know who I am, I’m Lando Norris,” More clapping, more cheering, various people yelled out variations of ‘I love you Lando!’. Oscar felt a small smile grow involuntarily on his face. The atmosphere was pretty infectious, and Lando snickering bashfully up front didn’t help.
“Please! Please! Hush!” Lando waved his arms around, and the room fell obediently quiet. “Now, I am here today to present some of the new tech on this year’s Mclaren Mastercard F1 year,” He explained carefully, “Among some other things, and yeah! So let’s get started!”
Lando jogged off to the side, grabbing something from a staff member who stood near the door. He seemed to ask her something, to which she nodded frantically. Lando leapt back up to the lectern, and held up what looked like a steering wheel. But not like one Oscar had ever seen before.
“Right so this is the steering wheel this year,” Lando held it forwards and began talking, pointing at random areas of the wheel as he explained whatever it was that they did.
Oscar tried to follow along, brows furrowed, but ultimately gave up as the lack of his technical knowledge caught up with him. Instead, he chose to spend most of the lecture staring at Lando’s face, and his neck, and his chest, and his arms, and… God, Oscar wasn’t even trying to listen.
He wasn’t sure how long had passed, how many random bits and pieces Lando had shown, before he snapped out of his thoughts. It wasn’t by choice, of course, because it would’ve been much nicer, and much easier to have come back from Narnia without anyone noticing. But this was Oscar’s life, in which nothing was fair.
And therefore, he was instead brought out of his day dreaming by the words, “Hey you! You look like a good volunteer,” Lando was pointing in Oscar’s direction, so naturally Oscar chose to look both behind him and either side. “Yes, you! Stop looking around and get down here,” Oh, god! Sure, Oscar had wanted to be noticed, to have another chance at talking to the actual angel from heaven of a driver. But not like this!
Oscar was frozen to his seat for a moment, before he felt Logan manhandling him up, and Oscar found his way to the stairs, found himself walking down them, and found himself at the front of the room side by side with The Lando Norris.
“So, Mr. Volunteer, what is your name?” Lando asked with an evil glint in his eye, so small that only Oscar could catch it. He gestured for Oscar to talk into the mic.
Hesitantly, Oscar leaned over. He glanced from Lando to the crowd, twice. “Oscar… Piastri,”
“Right! Oscar, are you ready?” Lando grinned towards the crowd, clapping his hand harshly on Oscar’s back. It remained there a moment too long and Oscar wondered if everyone in the room could now see him blushing like a fanboy.
“No….?” He mumbled into the microphone, but Lando was already ushering him to the side of the room and towards where he had been procuring the objects from.
Lando bent down, Oscar eyes drifted down. It didn’t last long, as suddenly Lando held a massive wheel in his arms. He held it out for Oscar to take, clearly struggling. Oscar looked at him with his mouth agape.
“Put those muscles to work, Oscar,” Lando winked and pushed the wheel into Oscar’s arms before walking back to the microphone. All Oscar could do was follow him helplessly, wheel held safely in his grip. “Okay everyone, so this!” Lando pointed towards the wheel Oscar cradled carefully, completely ignoring the concern plastered on the other man’s face. “Is a tyre that would be used on one of our cars. It’s a soft tyre and—“ He continued to rattle off about technical things Oscar could only vaguely remember from Logan’s past rants. In this moment, and this moment alone, Oscar wished he had paid more attention.
Oscar held the wheel high in his grip, making sure Lando could point to the bits necessary for the explanation, and so all the hundreds of students watching could get a good view. Oscar felt a certain pit open in his stomach. He wasn’t sure if it was due to all the people staring intensely in his direction from their seats, or from the way Lando’s eyes kept flickering away from the wheel and towards Oscar’s biceps, which were starting to ache at this point.
Still, somehow, every time he looked at Lando, into his twinkling eyes, Oscar found more energy to continue hoisting the wheel up. He hoped he was doing good, presenting the wheel in a way where the students would rather look at it and at Lando, rather than the way Oscar’s mouth was tugging into a fond smile, his eyes crinkling at the edges. He would be embarrassed, should be embarrassed, but he couldn’t really help it. Lando was just so his type.
“So yeah! That’s everything I think,” He turned to Oscar, “Let’s put that back now!” He suddenly appeared beside the man, ushering him and wheel to where it had been previously. Lando turned to walk back to the lectern, but hesitated for a moment as he watched Oscar glance to his empty seat. He rushed out a whisper, so small only Oscar could catch it. “Come up with me,” He was off the next second, and all Oscar could do was follow him. He wasn’t about to refuse another second this close to Lando Norris.
He stood awkwardly beside Lando as he did a small closing speech, summarising everything he’d shown. “Thank you for listening, and,” He angled his head to the side, eyes locking with Oscar’s as he grin spread easily, “Special thanks to Oscar for being such a willing participant,” Lando stepped back as the clapping and cheering started up again.
Lando laughed and jokingly bowed, but what the adoring students didn’t see was the way Lando’s hand drifted toward’s Oscar’s. A few eagle eyed audience members may have caught the way Oscar stilled, glancing down to look at the small piece of paper Lando had slotted into his hand. He looked back up, searching Lando’s face for, well, anything. Lando just gave him a knowing smile, and a small nod. Oscar attempted a smile back before Lando was walking off, heading out of the door.
Oscar was left at the front of the room, alone, for a moment. It was a short moment though, as students almost instantly began to flood out of their seats in an attempt to catch Lando has he left. The blur of bodies soon hid Oscar, meshing him together with the other students.
In that moment, he chose to open his hand, and unfurl the small scrap of paper that had settled in his palm.
‘text me? :)
+44 XXXX XXXXXX’
Oscar’s eyes widen, eyes brushing over the numbers again. He shoved his hands into his pockets, ignoring the way his face was heating up like a fire had been lit under his skin. He swallowed, blinked, and let out a small breath.
It wasn’t too long until Logan appeared in front of him, seemingly searching for his housemate. Oscar walked slowly over to him, his legs feeling strangely heavy.
“Oh my god, Oscar! That was insane! He’s so into you, I think everyone in this room wishes they were you, honestly!” Logan raved as soon as he spotted Oscar, though it went in one ear and out the other.
“We have to get home,” Oscar said urgently, eyebrows raised high as he pushed through the crowd, towards the door. Logan followed behind, a million questions filling his head.
They walked back at what Oscar believed was a record speed. It was mostly because every time Logan stopped to ask him what was going on, all Oscar did was shake his head and march on. He couldn’t tell Logan what he had acquired just yet, not out in the open where anyone could hear them.
So, he waited until the pair threw themselves through the door to their flat. Oscar shut the door, and the words felt as if they spilt straight out of him.
“He gave me his number!” He ripped his hand out of his pocket, and held out the crumpled paper for Logan to take, which he did. Eagerly.
“Holy shit!” Logan’s eyes shifted from left to right several times, each time holding the paper closer and close to his face. “No way! What the hell, what are you going to do? You’re gonna text him, right? I mean, you have to! He’s Lando Norris!” Logan yelped.
“I will if you give me his number back,” Oscar eased into a smile, but nothing could hide the feeling of one million butterflies flying around his stomach. He wasn’t sure he wasn’t dreaming.
As soon as the words left his mouth, Logan was shoving the paper back in Oscar’s direction. “Oh my god, what if you get invited to the grand prix?! Oscar, please, you have to take me with you! Think of everything I’ve done for you, please Oscar,” He begged, eyes wide.
Oscar let out a breathy laugh. “I haven’t even messaged him yet,”
“But you will?” It almost seemed to matter more to Logan than it did to Oscar. Almost.
“Yeah,” Oscar glanced down, finally able to take in the small, scratchy words Lando had given him. Him specifically. Oscar’s stomach flipped, turning the butterflies on their heads. The Lando Norris had given him his number. Wanted him to message him. The moment began to sink in. “Jesus, what do I say?”
Logan stood there, focused as he looked at his flatmate. “Just say like, ‘Hey this is Oscar’ or something, make sure to have like three Y’s though, ‘cause then it’s more flirty,”
Oscar nodded slowly. “Would it be weird to text him now? Like we just spoke, so—“
He couldn’t get another word in before Logan was talking again. “No but, he only left because the lecture ended, not because he wanted to stop talking. I think it’s fine. Just rip the bandaid off,” He watched hesitation flash across Oscar’s face. “Come on, let’s go to your room,” It wasn’t until Logan was off down the corridor that Oscar realised they had been standing directly in front of the door. This sort of thing couldn’t wait, he supposed and headed to his room behind the other man.
Once inside, the pair flopped down to sit side-by-side on Oscar’s bed. Oscar shot the other a confused look as Logan stared at him, expectantly.
“Get out your phone, dude,” Logan huffed. With a small nod, Oscar pulled out his phone and unlocked it. He swiped over to the messenger app, clicking the ‘Create New Contact’ button, before he froze. “You’re useless,” Logan said, pulling the phone out of Oscar’s grip. “Read out the number,”
Oscar obliged, reading out Lando’s phone number with trembling hands. He watched from the corner of his eye as Logan typed away, and pressed confirm. He passed the phone back to Oscar. “Now say hi or whatever. Just put something,”
He stared, for a moment, at the new contact labelled ‘lando’. He gulped nervously, but his fingers moved. Before he could tell them to stop, a message was already flying across his screen.
Heyyy this is Oscar
“He’s already read it!” Logan said, excitement bleeding through all his words. He was practically bouncing up and down on Oscar’s bed. Oscar, by comparison, was absolutely shitting himself. Was it too soon? Did Lando now think he was some obsessive fan? That he was so insane that he couldn’t wait a day to message Lando?
omg i wasnt sure if u would actually text me
hi oscar this is lando
“What the hell do I say to that!” Oscar tilted the phone, showing Logan. Both the boys stared at it in slight disbelief. But, luckily enough, another message quickly appeared.
i dont normally do this
ik its a cliche line but u gotta trust me
“He’s almost as much of a mess as you are,” Logan rolled his eyes. “You’ll be perfect for each other,” Oscar sorted but didn’t say anything, instead choosing to reply to the driver on his phone.
Lol I trust you
ok good cuz i wanna see u again
outside of a uni talk possibly
