Alarms and shattering glass ring out a second before screams pierce the air. Katsuki and Eijirou turn towards the commotion, following the sounds and the fleeing crowd. Katsuki crouches down to let Eijirou hop on his back, then blasts his way to the scene.
They rocket there in time to see three villains robbing a jewelry store. The biggest one, who stands guard, has armor like a knight, including a feathered helmet covering their head. Quirk: unknown. The lankiest one wipes drool away from his mouth while grabbing as much as he can. The little that slides off his chin onto the floor burns and bubbles up upon contact. Quirk: acidic spit. The third has tiny bat wings. Quirk: probably just her wings. Bat woman screams at the cashier, who is rapidly shoving money and jewelry behind the counter into a bag.At the sound of the explosions, the villains turn around, eyes widening in fear, but it’s too late to run.
Eijirou shifts and hardens in preparation as Katsuki whips his arms to the front and explodes, coming to a sudden halt. Eijirou is launched through the broken window at the bat villain. He crushes her into the counter, and she screams as her wings crumple painfully against her back. The villain slumps over, winded but not unconscious. Eijirou quickly secures the cashier and escorts her out the back away from the fight.
Meanwhile, Katsuki engages the other two. He blasts behind drooly before either could react. He swipes the bag away, tossing it onto the floor, and slaps cuffs onto his wrists. As he restrains the one villain, the knight charges at Katsuki, who picks up drooly and chucks him at the knight. The tanky bastard knocks their ally out of the way, smashing him into a wall and knocking him out.
Katsuki grins ferociously at the enraged villain and crouches down. Just before they can slam into him like a rampaging bull, Katsuki explodes out of the way. The knight yells in frustration, but their momentum cannot be easily stopped.They slam into the woman, who was slowly getting back up. She shrieks as she is slammed into the counter, again, and then into the wall as the knight keeps going. A loud crunch fills the air, and she falls down, definitely out of the count now.
The knight roars and spins around, facing Katsuki. Katsuki uses pinpoint blasts to weaken and crack their armor. The villain runs towards him while he does so. They are stopped by a heavy weight, clinging onto their back. Eijirou’s hardened form locks around their neck and pulls back, trying to rein the villain in. He breaks the armor further with his hardened body, leaving the villain exposed and vulnerable. The villain’s muscles enlarge and flex as they fling Eijirou off. He hits the ground but bounces back up.
The villain locks onto Eijirou. They throw quirk strengthened punches at his now unbreakable form. He digs in his feet and stands his ground. As the villain is distracted, Katsuki hops onto their back. Eijirou latches onto their wrists with all his might as they reach up to grab Katsuki. Before they can buck him off instead, Katsuki slams his hands on both sides of the knight’s partially exposed head and explodes.
They scream and stumble back. Katsuki jumps off as the knight trips on the bag of jewelry and falls down. Eijirou brings out the large quirk-cancelling handcuffs and slaps them on the concussed villain while Katsuki signals to the nearby emergency personnel that it’s safe to approach. The police grab the two cuffed villains after they get checked out while the bat villain gets strapped to a stretcher for treatment.
Katsuki speaks with the police about what happened while Eijirou handles the crowd of rabid reporters. After he reports to the police and several minutes have passed, Katsuki gets fed up and drags Eijirou away, threatening any reporters who stalk them. Eijirou laughs and waves goodbye to the crowd before throwing an arm around Katsuki’s shoulders. He pulls him closer as they walk away to finish their patrol before heading back to their agency.
