And, Archons, Alhaitham was healthy. Bizarrely healthy. Kaveh could smell it in his blood: rich in iron and all the vitamins most people neglected, thick with nutrients, mouthwatering with a tinge of that metallic aftertaste. And his veins were pumping deliciously right under Kaveh's teeth.
Or: Kaveh is a vampire with cavities. Alhaitham is a dentist who finds his fangs quite cute.
