Pearl moved through the forest grounds like a shark that smelled blood, her red eyes searching the forest grounds. She held her axe in a white knuckled grip. Her wolf ears twitching at the sounds of leafs rustling.
Adrenaline and hunger fueled her body, the urge to kill, stick her teeth in something..or someone grew by the second.
Then she smelled it. Blood. Pearl followed the scent till she saw the shadow of a figure, her axe glinting in the moonlight, she moved closer to the shadow twigs and leafs crunched beneath her boots.
She regonised the figure, Gem.
The sounds of leafs rustling, Pearl's ears twitched. She moved, towards Gem.
Gem looked at her, taking a slow step back.
"Pearl...?" She whispered, her voice low. "Yes, Gemmy?" Pearl hummed, her voice slightly raspy. Her fangs glinting in the moonlight.
