“Oh my god, I love you.” Senku almost shot out of bed from shock. “I love you!” Senku’s eyes were wide, he stared at Gen who stared back, equally in shock. Senku felt like he got punched by Kohaku, or hit by a ton of bricks. His body seized up like he’d been petrified, and he realised belatedly he’d stopped breathing. “Gen, help, I love you,” he wheezed.
“C-calm down, S-Senku!” Gen used his hands to steady Senku’s rapidly rising and falling chest. “Seriously?” Gen practically cried, “Are you sure you didn’t hit your head or breathe in a hallucinogenic drug or something?”
