Work Text:
Facty stood up from their snow angel, gazing down at the angel-like imprint left in the snow.
Lighty and Martian stood up shortly after, looking down at their own, sort of, angel-like imprints in the snow. Lighty's snow angel looked like an angel with an abnormally large head while Martian's snow angel resembled a butterfly.
“There you have it folks! Three beautiful snow angels.” Facty said to the invisible audience and smiled, posing next to the three dents in the snow.
As soon as Facty was finished recording their video Lighty quickly kicked the snow and covered up the pitiful snow angel attempt.
Martian frowned at the action but didn't say anything, he found Lighty's snow angel to be quite pretty. Even if it didn't look like how a true snow angel is supposed to look.
“Alright you guys, let's go home!” Facty announced, and like always, the trio was instantly teleported home with a horribly ear-grating shrill following them.
They unfortunately still had all of that snow left on them. Facty shook the snow off from their jacket and pants like a dog while Lighty helped Martian take off his coat.
Despite their house being so warm the three fact attackers were still very cold due to being outside for a good hour while the temperature was in the negatives. All of their shoes– except for Martian since he goes barefoot no matter the event– were wet from the now melted snow.
“I'm gonna take a shower.” Facty said, but they were promptly stopped in their tracks once they saw the lightbulb and the aliens disapproving faces.
“What? You guys don't want me to shower? You two can have a turn once I'm done.” Facty chuckled, staring at the two in disbelief.
“You always take forever.” Martian grumbled.
“And you use up all the hot water.” Lighty dimmed.
“Well, it's not like we can all shower together.”
Lighty and Martian frowned.
Facty raised an eyebrow at the both of them. “We can't. If you guys wanna shower so bad you can just go before me. Hell, you can even shower together.”
“It's not the same.” The green one whined.
“So what do you suggest we do?” Facty sighed.
“We should just like, warm up in front of the fireplace or something.” Lighty's glow came back as if he just got an amazing idea.
“That would be so cute!” Martian smiled, already imagining being cuddled up in front of the fireplace with his partners.
“That's not such a bad idea.” Facty pondered, rubbing their chin. “Alright guys! Group warming up session it is!” They announced, instantly getting to work.
Without Lighty or Martian having to do much of anything, Facty reworked the living room into the perfect almost pillow fort looking area. They moved the couch closer to the fireplace and placed a bunch of soft pillows and blankets along the furniture. In the back the TV hummed with a movie that almost looked like a hallmark Christmas movie. It kind of looked like if you were to explain Christmas to someone who's never experienced it before and told them to make a movie about it.
“All done!” Facty showed off their creation, shaking their hands to give off extra flair.
“We should change into our pajamas. I don't want to keep standing in these icky wet pants!” They sniffled, already feeling the side effects of staying out in the cold for too long.
That was one thing the group could all agree on. With a jump they all instantly had on their matching pajamas. They certainly felt more cozy but they were still pretty chilly.
Lighty climbed into the nest fort-like thing. Making himself comfortable against the edge of the couch. Facty and Martian followed soon after; Martian sat in the middle, resting his head against Lighty's shoulder and wrapping his left set of arms around Facty's torso.
The fireplace shone a warm cast of fire and golden light across the three, illuminating their faces and instantly warming them up.
For a while they all simply sat there and watched the ‘Christmas movie’ playing on TV. 30 minutes had presumably gone by and it seemed like the world was slowing down for Facty. The faces and voices on TV became incomprehensible and slightly smudged. Facty figured this was the consequences of taking 800 mL of ashwagandha before filming their skit earlier. They rubbed their face, turning their head to look at their two lovers.
By God did those two look beautiful.
Completely uninterested in the movie now, Facty just stared at their partners. The fire shining off of their faces made them look absolutely gorgeous. Facty wanted nothing more than to just take a closer look at how truly stunning the two were, maybe even get close enough to feel how their lips would feel against Facty's own.
The blonde could feel the blush on their cheeks spreading throughout their face and decided to forgo that train of thought.
The one thing they couldn't help was how safe it felt to be cuddled up against Martian, basically nuzzling into him.
They let out a content sigh. Trying to get even closer to the alien, Martian tightened his grip on Facty.
That simple hold against their body, the reassurance that Martian was there for them caused that unwanted train of thought to come rushing right back.
Those unfortunate thoughts weren't the only thing rushing through Facty. Their blood was pumping so fast they could hear it in their ears.
“Are you okay?” Martian asked, taking notice of how unnaturally warm Facty was. “We can move away from the fireplace if y-”
“Have you ever kissed someone?” Facty blurted.
“Have I ever what?” Martian giggled, assuming he didn't hear Facty correctly.
“Kissed someone.” Facty said. Their voice unwavering.
“Why are you asking me that?” Martian looked around, realizing that Lighty was not so subtly listening in on the conversation too.
“Just answer.” Facty begged.
Martian giggled again, finding this whole conversation ridiculous. “No I haven't. Well- not in the way humans do, I guess.”
Facty was a bit conflicted by that answer but went along with it anyway.
Suddenly with a surge of bravery they made their move.
Facty cupped Martian's face and tilted it slightly upwards, waiting for a moment to make sure that Martian was actually okay with this. After receiving no rebuttal, their faces aligned and shifted just right for their lips to connect.
Facty's body felt warmer than it's ever been. Hopefully Martian couldn't hear how hard their heart was pounding.
It wasn't a long or deep kiss by anyone's standards but it was still a lot for two inexperienced people.
Facty's whole face was pretty much pink and Martian's cheeks were dusted with blue blush as they broke the kiss.
The both of them didn't say anything for a while. Simply staring at eachother until Facty looked over Martian's shoulder, noticing Lighty was watching them the whole time.
That realization shamefully made something stir inside of Facty.
Lighty and Facty only spoke with their eyes. Lighty made his way towards Facty, carefully squeezing past Martian and his six limbs.
The two kissed, a little clumsily to be fair. But neither of them cared.
After no more than three seconds the pair broke the kiss. Looking utterly embarrassed even though no one else was there to see them.
Martian couldn't help but feel a little left out as he watched that interaction go down. Even though it probably wasn't possible for three people to kiss at once he still felt pretty sad.
Lighty sat up straight, wrapping an arm around Martian since Lighty was in the middle this time. Making sure to hold the alien tight.
Facty burrowed against the lightbulb, feeling equally embarrassed and loved at the same time.
Lighty wrapped his other arm around Facty. Making sure both of his partners felt safe by his side.
Soon night began to fall and snow prickled from the sky. The fireplace began to die down, the TV shut itself off, and all that was left were the three of them resting against each other after a very eventful day.
