    Summary

Jean Grey, on the verge of leaving New York behind, finds that the time she spent keeping Peter Parker alive has created a link between them she cannot bring herself to break, not while he's still stumbling away from the grave he nearly put himself in. As she returns to at least make sure he'll recover, the two begin to reckon with the damage the world has done to them, what they did to each other... and why they both feel a desperate need to not be alone any longer.
