"My Lady!"
The door to Lady Adette's chambers are practically slammed open as Terrin rushes inside with a huge grin beaming on his face.
"Oh goodness!" Adette exclaims in surprise, turning to look at Terrin in shock before she chuckles at his smile. "What on earth- are you alright?"
Terrin closes the door behind him and rushes over to her on the couch, his grin not faltering.
"My apologies for barging in," he says, a giggle lingering in his voice. "You'll never believe what I'm about to tell you."
He pauses and fails to hold back another giggle, Adette looking at him with a intrigued and slightly confused smile, before Terrin continues.
"Vihaan and Othelia are dating."
"No way!" Adette answers immediately, a similar smile settling on her face as well. "Since when?"
"Since about an hour or so ago," Terrin beams and then lets out a laugh. "I'm so excited I don't know what to do with myself."
"Goodness, finally!" Adette laughs in return. "This has taken them so long."
Terrin sits down on the couch next to her and practically throws himself at her to give her a tight hug. She hugs back, giggling with him.
"You were right, I really can't believe it," she laughs, before she pulls back with a determination in her eyes. "Wait, more details please."
"I don't know much honestly," Terrin shrugs. "I stumbled upon Vihaan outside, and came right in here after."
"Othelia wasn't with him? What was he doing outside?"
"He is out for a jog," Terrin giggles, and Adette puts her face in her hands.
"Goodness how precious is he, having to run off his nerves," she chuckles and looks up. "And Othelia?"
"I believe she's working. Vihaan confessed to her during her break."
"Of course he did," Adette huffs, her face back in her hands. "He couldn't wait for a more special moment?"
"He already tried to confess yesterday," Terrin snickers. "But she had to go before he could get to the point."
"That's what he was trying to do?" Adette exclaims. "Othelia came to me yesterday so confused about their interaction, she said Vihaan was acting so strangely, she couldn't figure out what it was."
"I'm honestly surprised she didn't figure out his intentions."
"I'm not," Adette sighs. "She's somehow just as dense as him when it comes to their feelings for each other."
"Thankfully he managed today," Terrin giggles. "Oh, I'm so excited on their behalf."
"Remember my love, their affection will probably be a lot different than ours," she chuckles. "I can assure you their bickering won't falter. I guess it will only increase, actually."
"Probably," Terrin chuckles back. "But who knows, maybe they'll get all sweet and cheesy when they're alone."
"We won't know about it either way.."
The words linger as the room falls silent for a second, before they both look at each other.
"We'll get all the details we can from them and tell each other, right?" Adette asks with a playful smile, and Terrin nods.
"Absolutely," he agrees. "I'd say we're obligated to as their best friends."
They laugh again, and Adette takes Terrin's hand and presses a sweet kiss to it.
"I'm happy," she says, and he smiles.
"Me too. I'll try to get more details from Vihaan later."
"And I from Othelia."
Terrin stands up and starts walking to the door.
"I need to go, these were urgent news I had to get to you immediately."
"Your urgency were much appreciated," Adette chuckles. "I'll see you later, my love."
"See you later, my lady."
