Summary
The moment they’re inside Chad’s loft, cut off from the word, he backs Robert up against the metal door. The thick musk of a long day sweating in his flight suit is all over Robert’s skin. Robert’s smaller, leaner, dangerous with all that fast-twitch muscle. He's always ready, always tense, reflexes waiting for a threat. Chad has to move with purpose, quickly with the little bit of opening he has. He uses his whole body to close in. Robert’s spine connects with a dull thump as Chad crowds and surrounds him. One little push is all it takes to set Robert off.
