Work Text:
DENIAL
Bakugo blames it on his hormones.
They just got back from a two-week conditioning camp and—given the circumstances of the last time they took a trip to a remote area—there was absolutely no way of doing anything by yourself. Everyone was assigned a ‘buddy' to do everything with and, much to Bakugo's displeasure, his ‘buddy’ was Todoroki. There wasn’t a single piss he could take without Icy-Hot’s watchful eye on him.
After three weeks of zero privacy, Bakugo is pent the fuck up.
He’s so pent up, in fact, that for the first time since coming to UA, his eyes begin to wander when they’re back in the locker room. He can’t just wait to be back in his dorm. His stupid teenage brain-body-whatever-the-fuck can’t wait.
Bakugo never thought he’d stoop this low.
He can’t fathom the lengths to which puberty will take him for a simple wank. Yet Bakugo peeks around anyway. Glares around. If looks could kill, everyone would be dead.
Sero would be super dead.
But it’s only because Kirishima and Todoroki, though they are fairly attractive (a fact Bakugo will surely take to his grave) are two people he considers to actually be his friends (another fact that will go straight to the afterlife). And Satou is too muscular. And Shoji, Kouda, Tokoyami and Ojiro are too anatomically strange. And Kaminari and Aoyama show no physical prowess whatsoever. And Deku’s just not an option. And Bakugo forgot Mineta exists until he hears him getting beat up from the girls’ locker room.
Sero, on the other hand, can be reduced to a classmate. He’s tall and lean and a bit toned. Nice shoulders, nicer thighs, and a plain face. A blank canvas, if you will. He’s the perfect template for Bakugo’s private perversions.
So, he wins. Of all the losers he has to share a classroom with, Sero is the one he doesn’t mind objectifying as an absolute last resort. He can work with that. This is a trivial moment of weakness in which Tape Face will have to suffice.
Bakugo follows the water droplets from Sero’s long dark hair outlining the muscles on his back as they go lower and lower and lower still.
Sero shifts and Bakugo is faced with the side profile of his body. His eyes trail back up until he’s met with Sero’s gaze. Sero tilts his head with a confused look, like he’s trying to figure out what expression Bakugo is wearing. Then his face softens and he throws Bakugo a lopsided grin.
Bakugo‘s frown deepens and he looks away, trying to ignore the heat that travels to his cheeks. Must be the stupid steam from the stupid showers.
It’s his uncontrollable, teenage first-puberty hormones. Yep, that’s exactly what it is. He doesn’t actually find any of these losers attractive. Especially not Sero. He just can’t control it. It's just been too long.
He does not find Sero Hanta attractive and the thought of Sero’s very wet and naked body (and perhaps a certain careless smile) is definitely not what pushes Bakugo over the edge when he has a hand down his pants in the middle of the night (8pm sharp) in the first night back in the dorms.
ANGER
Bakugo finds himself once again in a locker room with the rest of the boys from now class 2-A.
This time around he feels normal, eyes fixed in place at an arbitrary spot by the wall. Getting dressed quickly so he can make some dinner and go to bed. Well, that was the plan up until he notices every single boy but him huddling over Sero on the bench. What the fuck are they going on about?
There are mutters and giggles slowly filling the room.
Curiosity gets the better of him. He lets his ears perk up.
“She came up to me and asked for my number.” Sero shrugs coolly. “We’ve been talking ever since… like talking talking,” he says proudly, looking around, as if awaiting applause.
Bakugo’s eye twitches.
What follows are gasps and whispers and questions. They start off fairly innocent.
“Does she go to UA?”
“Have you guys gone on a date?”
“Do you have a picture of her?”
Then, as decency slowly but surely exits the locker room, they begin to ask the questions everyone actually wants answers for. Everyone but Bakugo, of course. He could care less.
“Have you guys made out?!”
“Second base?!”
“Guys, come on! I’m a gentleman. I don’t kiss and telllll.” Sero, being the coy fuck he is, waves all the boys off, leaving them all on this childish cliffhanger.
Not Bakugo though, ‘cause he doesn’t care. Like at all. This is juvenile. And stupid.
Sero’s stupid fucking smug face and his fake-ass nonchalant tone and his wide-ass lopsided grin just rubs Bakugo the wrong way. Him bragging about this girl just made Bakugo’s blood start to boil. With those looks he has no business looking and sounding so… confident, for lack of a better word.
Sero’s juvenile. And stupid
He has subconsciously sidled closer to the cluster of classmates, frowning towards them.
“You finally decided to join us, bro?” Kirishima looks at Bakugo with tentative enthusiasm, as if too much might scare him off.
Sue him, Bakugo’s a teenage boy with the occasional teenage boy interest.
“What do you think? I think Sero just made it all up.” Kaminari shrugs, popping the plug of his hairdryer back into the outlet of his mouth and blowing his hair.
“Hey, what the hell?” Sero shoves Kaminari playfully. The hairdryer dies as the plug flies out of Kaminari’s mouth.
This is juvenile, this is fucking stupid and juvenile as fuck.
“This is juvenile, this is fucking stupid and juvenile as fuck.”
“Dude, I’m getting the vibe that you think it’s juvenile and fucking stupid and juvenile as fuck,” Sero teases.
“Shut your fucking face.”
“Someone’s jealousssss,” Mineta jeers with his stupid fucking lisp.
Sero puts his hands behind his head, leans back, and splays his legs arrogantly, making sure to hit Kaminari’s knee as he does so, all while looking directly at Bakugo.
“It's fine, guys. Maybe one day you’ll all be as irresistible as me.” And the motherfucker winks.
Suddenly, Bakugo is filled with a feeling that isn’t quite anger but very close to it. He feels himself grow hot, so hot that he can imagine how red he is in his face at the sight of Sero in front of him. Smug and wet and all spread out with nothing but a towel to hide his modesty. His immodesty. Just shameless. Anger and this mystery feeling are so similar that Bakugo elects to call it anger instead. Fuck it. He’s blowing all of them up.
Sero’s boasting is cut short by the crowd of class 2-A students that are suddenly running out of the locker room half naked due to a certain explosive teen.
BARGAINING
“What the hell are you talking about?!” Bakugo finally snaps at Camie.
She has been ranking random shit for the past few hours and Bakugo got left behind somewhere between her ranking of class 3-A’s DILFs, her abandonment of that idea due to discovering that Deku’s dad isn’t enough in the picture to be on any family Facebook photos, and then her new ranking of class 3-A’s MILFs.
“We just finished ‘who’s most likely to crossdress willingly if I asked nicely.’” Camie pauses and eyes Bakugo up and down then tilts her head to the side. “Yeah, you’re sixth.”
“What the fuck?” The fact that there are people that rank lower than him immediately nullifies the validity of this list. And every other one.
Ever since Kirishima and Camie have started dating, Bakugo has been subject to listening to shit like this every time they all hang out.
“I thought you were ranking MILFs,” Bakugo says, immediately regretting it after.
“That was like, three rankings ago! Keep up, we’re ranking attractiveness now!” Camie tells him. “Mitsuki Bakugo got first place for that, by the way. Love her down. Super MILF. MILF quirk.”
“Enough.” MILF quirk?! “Enough!”
“Come to think of it, what would your list look like, bro? Any contenders for first place?” Kirishima ponders deeply. “For our class, obviously. Not the MILFs.” Bakugo hates that Camie now makes Kirishima pry about matters he otherwise wouldn’t have.
Camie gasps loudly and dramatically.
“Why didn’t I think to consult with the gay one between you two when I’m ranking themmm?!” Camie makes sure to point at Bakugo, as if there could possibly be any confusion, and as a reminder to the plentiful crowd of three in Camie’s living room. “I’m sorry babe, you’re, like, kinda totally useless right now.” She gives Kirishima a very apologetic look before whipping her head back to Bakugo.
“Like I would find any of those losers attractive. All of them rank last.”
“Whaaaat?” She pouts. “You’ve never had the hots for anyone in your guys’ class? A friend? A rival? My Eiji-kun?” She holds out her palm and Kirishima quickly rests his chin on it, melting.
Bakugo grimaces at all of it. Her words. The sight. Kirishima. Get a damn grip.
For the record, no, Bakugo hasn’t had the ‘hots’ for any of those fucking extras. He’s got better shit to do.
Before Bakugo can respond, Camie starts up again.
“Okay! So, in very first place and a non-negotiable…” She mouths an unapologetic ‘sorry’ to Bakugo. “My Eiji-kun.” She slides her palm up to his cheek and pinches it lightly. Kirishima’s smiling like a starstruck idiot. “Okay. You can choose next.”
Bakugo doesn’t think he can take this much longer.
He was in no way trying to entertain her, but he’d be lying if he wasn’t the slightest bit interested in curating an objective list for this, in a way Camie clearly never could. He’s never considered it before and the placements aren’t as obvious as he thinks they would be.
Dead last: Deku. The one placement Bakugo won’t budge on out of principle. The rest are debatable.
Tokoyami, Kouda and Shoji are all competing for twelfth place. Their anatomy is of no interest to Bakugo and likely not to the average person with an average skeletal structure. Whatever, they can occupy the last three spots. If he's going based off of weird anatomy, it's only fair that Ojiro, Iida and Sero are next.
Actually, let's not be too hasty.
They aren’t as offensive as the last three, he presumes. There’s got to be others that would go before, like Satou, who’s too big and needs to sort out his hair. And Aoyama. Too thin. If you squint, he kind of looks like a girl. And then there’s the sparkles. Maybe he’s last (after Deku). That brings them back to the other three with odd body parts. If you focus on their faces then it would be Ojiro next. Too boring. Then Iida. Too nerdy. And Sero…could be next but… lets hold off on his placement, there's got to be worse looking guys in his class, surely. He would probably place Kaminari fifth, only because Bakugo thinks he’s objectively feminine but not too much so and that’s what people like. Objectively. Sero could be fourth and Kirishima could be third but that can’t be because then Todoroki would be second and Bakugo can’t have that. And Bakugo would be lying if he said Kirishima was more attractive than Todoroki, unfortunately. Bakugo is many things, but he’s not a liar. So that would make Kirishima fourth, which makes sense, that’s his closest friend, after all. And Todoroki third, because he can never be second. Which would make Sero second.
Among slim pickings, Sero gets that spot on a technicality. He’s not the best looking, he’s just not the worst.
“Do you think he’s done?”
“No, do you think he’ll tell us?”
“Pfft, no.”
“What’s there to say? The ranking’s obvious,” Bakugo huffs. “I’m first.”
DEPRESSION
They are all at a bar, celebrating Kaminari joining The Lurkers hero agency. Everyone is fairly tipsy, Bakugo included. The alcohol in his system got him to finally relax a little after busting his ass working nonstop trying to make the ranks for the past three weeks.
That, plus the melancholy feeling that emerged from watching Sero debut his girlfriend—being all touchy-feely and flirtatiously secretive with each other—has made Bakugo incapable of keeping up his usual scowl and what most people would describe as his ‘foul personality’. Though Bakugo would describe that as bullshit.
Bakugo doesn’t know why he feels this way. Perhaps it's the increase in the number of couples in their friend group. The fact that even Sero and his plain face and weird elbows can get into a relationship just accentuates the extent of Bakugo’s independence. As he gets older he has—and for some reason people find this hard to believe—become more of a normal person with normal needs.
He just can’t be bothered tonight.
He makes his way over to Kaminari who’s trying and failing at flirting with a pink-faced Jirou. Well, it’s working on her, but Bakugo would consider it failing. On both parts; that Kaminari is so bad at it, that Jirou is so into it.
“Congrats.” He smacks a hand down Kaminari’s back. Kaminari arches his back and tries to cover his wince with a fake stretch.
That pulls a giggle from Jirou.
“Dude!” Kaminari wails. “This is my special night, you don’t have to be such an ass—“ He halts, short circuiting for a moment. “I mean…Thank you?”
Bakugo makes the mistake of directing his gaze towards Sero and his girlfriend once again and intrudes on the two looking at each other affectionately. “You earned it.”
He doesn't look away until he notices the silence, and then catches Kaminari and Jirou exchanging a puzzled look.
“You okay, man?” Kaminari asks.
“Yeah… You seem to be kind of down… Or maybe in good spirits?” Jirou rushes in to add, “I genuinely can’t tell.”
“What the fuck? I can’t even give a compliment now?” Bakugu says.
“No, no, you can, you can… you just usually don’t.”
“Guess I just didn’t expect to be on the receiving end of one, anyway.” Kaminari tilts his head with a dopey grin. ”Bakugo, are you flirting with me? I’m flattered.”
Kirishima snakes up from behind in between Kaminari and Bakugo and throws his arms over both their shoulders, leaning his heavy weight forward.
“Dude, I got you a drink!” A sentiment very clearly meant for Kaminari, though Bakugo doesn’t care, he grabs one of the beers and takes a swig.
“Thanks.”
There’s a pause.
Kirishima looks at Kaminari, then Jirou. “Did he just thank me?”
Yeah, right! “Can you guys be fucking normal!? I’m capable of giving compliments and saying thanks.”
“He gave you a compliment?” Kirishima asks, waving his finger between Jirou and Kaminari.
“Two!” Kaminari says before abruptly turning to Bakugo. “And you can’t take them back!”
If Bakugo could roll his eyes and see his literal brain, he would. His friends’ melodrama might be enough to get him out of this slump and back to his usual, ‘foul personality’ self. But he makes the mistake of looking over at Sero again.
Mina’s caterwauling grows louder as she approaches the group from out of Bakugo’s line of sight. Something something, Hagakure, something something, she’s invisible, something something drink spilled on her ‘cute top’ and now all of the sudden she’s ugly.
He sees her kiss Sero’s cheek. Gross.
“Shut up, you look good.” He glances over and checks where the stain is. At the bottom of Mina’s shirt. “Just roll it up if it bothers you so much.” The music’s loud enough, he doesn’t want to hear her complaining on top of that.
“I—yeah, I guess I can do that… thanks?” Mina stutters.
They stand there in silence as Mina blots and folds her now folded up top.
“What the fuck is happening?” Kaminari laughs. “Alright everyone, hands up, who’s holding a gun to Bakugo’s head?”
“No, like, compliment, thanks, and fashion advice.” Jirou counts on her fingers. “Best Jeanist must have really put you to work.”
Mina pouts. “Guys, I actually feel better. Bakugo said I looked good.”
Bakugo groans. He’s never complimenting, thanking, or giving fashion—giving any advice ever again.
“Hey, guys, let’s stop harping on Bakugo a little, huh? Switch the topic?” Kirishima says gently. Bakugo sighs a small sigh of relief, he’s grateful for him just this once. “Sero’s new girlfriend? What do we think?” Nevermind. Bakugou shrugs Kirishima’s arm off of him.
“But I don’t wanna talk about Sero’s new girlfriend,” Mina says. Bakugo is grateful for her just this once. “I want Bakugo to compliment me more.” Never-fucking-mind.
“Waaaiiitttt, saaaaame.”
Bakugo blinks. ”When the fuck did you get here?” He gestures at Camie with the full force of his palm.
”I’ve been here the whole time! Right, bae?”
”Yeah, she was just grinding on me from behind,” Kirishima assures.
Among the chaos, Bakugo misses Sero making his way over to them.
“What’s up, guys?” He asks, girlfriend out of sight. “I was starting to get FOMO, what’d I miss?”
”Bakugo is being weird.” Jirou says plainly.
“What the fuck?” Bakugo retorts.
”Yeah he’s actually being nice to us,” Kaminari follows up. ”I think a bug bit him.”
“I think he hit his head,” Kirishima says with mild concern.
With the confidence alcohol has provided them, they both reach out to inspect Bakugo, as if to prove their respective theories. Bakugo shoves them off.
”Honestly, I think he had a good day.” Mina says with a toothy grin, still reveling in the compliment Bakugo gave her.
”I think he had a bad one,” Jirou accurately assesses.
”Waitttt, guys, what if he’s drunk?” Camie also accurately assesses. The bottle Bakugo took from Kirishima is already finished.
“Fuck all of you,” Bakugo snarks, waving the empty bottle at a bartender, who promptly replaces it with a full one. Kaminari’s tab will survive it—he’s a full-fledged hero now.
”Even me? Where’s my compliment?” Sero teases, looking at Bakugo expectantly. Bakugo feels his face go warm. Must be the beer.
“I don’t know, where’s your girlfriend?” The words spill from Bakugo before he can stop himself.
Sero’s expression flickers. He clears his throat then chuckles, attempting to lighten the mood. “She’s either getting me drinks from the other side of the room, or absolutely killing it on the dance floor.”
“Doesn’t wanna come introduce herself?”
Sero raises an eyebrow, the smile on his face looks tense. “Did you want to meet her, man?”
His smile falters the longer Bakugo just stares without saying anything. Or it could just be Bakugo’s imagination.
“I wanna meet her!” Camie hollers. “Fuck, okay, fuck it! Let’s meet her! Where is she? Can she get me a drink, too?”
“I’ll get you a drink, babe,” Kirishima says, and signals to the bartender for another beer on Kaminari’s tab.
“Wait, wait, stop changing the subject!” Jirou waves her hands frantically. “Bakugo, where’s Sero’s compliment?”
“And mine,” Camie says.
Bakugo turns away from the cluster of eyes staring at him and continues to quietly sip on his drink.
“Guess you ran out of gas, huh?” Sero offers a laugh that sounds strained to Bakugo’s drunk ears. He might also be imagining the disappointment on his face, in the corner of his drunk eyes. “I got here too late for—“
“Sero-kun! Come dance!”
Sero’s girlfriend is on the dance floor near them, drink in one hand while she excitedly beckons Sero over with the other.
“Dude, she’s kinda like your bat signal.” Kaminari nudges Sero.
That draws a laugh out of most of their friends. Sero just rolls his eyes, grins widely and waves them goodbye.
Before he turns away, his eyes catch Bakugo’s. He gives him a small, tight-lipped smile and makes his exit, dancing towards his girlfriend. Bakugo’s eyes follow the not so graceful movements. He watches Sero get closer and closer to her, his movements smoother. More sensual, more dual.
Bakugo looks away.
He just needs to get laid.
ACCEPTANCE
“Kacchan, are you going to make fun of me?”
“Just fucking tell me, dipshit!”
They slipped away. More like Bakugo dragged Deku away against his will, up to the cold roof of Ojiro’s apartment. Bakugo has his forearms on the railing, leaning over to look at the dimly lit city below them while Deku faces the opposite way, leaning his back on it.
They were there for a party. A game night. Or a movie night. Bakugo doesn’t know and doesn’t care, to be honest. He merely saw the flood of notifications on a group chat talking about it. He just showed up because he knew Sero would be here.
Deku’s expression goes from pensive, to timid, to embarrassed before he starts with a stammer. Bakugo takes a deep breath and fights for his life to not roll his eyes.
“It—Well, it started off fairly innocent…It felt like love at first sight. For me, at least...”
There was nothing innocent about the way Bakugo’s attraction towards Sero began.
Deku gulps down a good amount of his soda. “That first day at UA, the minute I laid my eyes on her, I felt like everything was in slow motion, like… as if I got the wind knocked out of me, and I made an absolute fool out of myself in front of her.”
God, Deku just always has to be a little pathetic.
Bakugo lets his annoyance show when Deku takes too long of a pause. He gestures for him to continue with his hands. “Okay, and then?”
“Well, then it was silly high school stuff. She was all I could think about.” Deku pauses again, a steely resolution picking up in his demeanor. “I would get… irrationally jealous when she would interact with other guys. She was my first pick for everything and, y’know… like, whenever we had to be paired up, I wished it was her and stuff… Just silly things like that.” Deku is right back to fumbling over his words, beet red as he absentmindedly plays with his fingers, tugs on the sleeves of his sweater.
Yeahhh, Bakugo can’t relate. Like, at all.
“The moment it stopped being silly, the moment all of it became real, was when she was briefly dating that other guy. I hated that guy!” He laughs, though his expression looks pained. “Like, I had no reason to. He was a fine person. A good one, probably! But I just felt so… bad about it. Like, I know it was in my head, but sometimes it felt like a physical ache.”
Now, Bakugo feels a little more sane. He can relate. This wasn’t an absolutely useless talk after all.
Bakugo nods.
“Anyway, that was the last straw. I confessed to her and, thankfully, her and that other guy were just a casual thing. And… here we are now.” Deku looks at the ground, then the night sky, and laughs. “I don’t even remember the other guy’s name anymore.”
Bakugo set his foot up on the bottom of the railing. “So you just told her? And if she didn’t like you back?”
“Well, I’d rather have an answer than keep it to myself forever. Besides, she’s my friend above all. She would’ve let me down gently.”
A comfortable silence sits between them.
“Why’d you ask, anyway? I didn’t think this would be a particularly interesting story for you.”
Bakugo keeps his eyes on the city horizon. “I don’t know.” Sometimes, Bakugo is a liar.
Deku’s known him too long to be convinced by that answer.
Before he can call Bakugo out, they get interrupted by the heavy door of the bulkhead opening and closing.
“God, it’s hot inside.”
Of course it's Sero. It’s like he was summoned. This feels like Deku’s fault somehow. Bakugo keeps his attention on the city.
“Actually, I was just starting to get a little chilly, I’m going to head back inside.” Deku turns to Bakugo and pats his shoulder in an amiable farewell.. “I guess I’ll pry another time. Bye, guys.”
Leaving Bakugo and Sero on the roof. Alone.
“Pry?” Sero makes his way towards him. Bakugo doesn’t budge one bit, he was here first. “About what?”
“None of your business, Tape-Face,” Bakugo says with little resistance.
“Come onnn…” Sero, with a hint of smugness in his tone, nudges him lightly with his big-ass elbow, wiggling his eyebrows now that he’s entered the left of Bakugo’s periphery.
Bakugo exhales. “Deku was just telling me how despite being lame, Uraraka gave him a chance anyway.”
That gets a laugh out of Sero, which gets a smile out of Bakugo.
“You asked Midoriya about his love life?”
Well, when he says it like that, Bakugo suddenly wants to put up a fight. But before he could so much as open his mouth to defend himself, that no, obviously he didn’t ask Deku about his love life, he asked Deku how he got over being such a loser about the whole love life thing, Sero asks a follow up question that is so blunt, it leaves him stunned.
“How’s your love life?”
Bakugo doesn’t know what to make of Sero’s testing lilt, or what to make of his face when Bakugo turns to face him—much less what to make of the sudden lack of distance between them.
Their arms are touching and neither of them are bothered by the contact.
There’s a beat of silence. Then another. And another. And one more just for good measure. Bakugo shrugs, trying to play it cool.
“Nothing worth mentioning.”
“Figured.”
“What the fuck?”
Sero’s cracking up before Bakugo could even finish expressing his indignation.
“Kidding, kidding! If anything, I’m surprised.”
Bakugo raises an eyebrow. “Why’s that?”
“You have like a billion of fangir—boys—”
“Nice save.”
“Who would love to date the best number two hero there ever was.”
Bakugou snorts. “Best number two is an oxymoron.”
“You make it work,” Sero says with a playful grin. Bakugou glances away.
They stand there, enjoying the warmth they’re providing to each other, discussing stupid things because it's one of Sero’s favorite pastimes and Bakugo—some would say uncharacteristically—enjoys indulging him.
Eventually the conversation slows to a halt. In the silence, the fatigue of the late night catches up to him and Bakugo’s head feels heavy. But heavy in a specifically left leaning way. Perhaps wanting to land on a certain taller man’s shoulder.
He lets it fall.
Sero’s body tenses for a second, then immediately melts into the touch. Bakugo inhales and exhales.
“Hey dude—“ Sero starts but Bakugo wants to hear none of it. He needs to man up and just fucking tell him. Worst comes to worst, he blows both of them up.
“I hated your girlfriend even though she was probably fine. And I don’t remember her name and I didn’t remember it at the time either, and—why are you laughing?”
“My two month girlfriend from like, a year ago?”
Embarrassed, Bakugo lifts his head from Sero’s shoulder to glare at him. “What about it?”
“No, nothing.” Sero shakes his head. “I don’t remember her name either. No, I’m kidding, she was great. Not that it matters. Sorry, I just—” He laughs again. “Can I kiss you?”
Bakugo responds with the instinct of his heart. “The fuck makes you think I wanna kiss you?”
“Can you just—” Sero’s giggling. “Dude, can you be a normal guy with normal guy hormones for a second? So mean.”
Bakugo’s actually dealing with his raging young adult, second-puberty hormones right now, thanks. He grabs Sero by his collar and yanks him down.
Their lips meet harshly.
After the initial shock, Sero’s hands make their way onto Bakugo hair, pulling his head back just a little. He softens the kiss, slows it, eases into a pace more easygoing than Bakugo would have wanted, but Bakugo supposes that his built up fervor can return later. He lets Sero lead just this once.
Sero’s hands travel down to Bakugo’s warm cheeks, opening his mouth and encouraging Bakugo to do the same by pulling him impossibly closer. Once their tongues meet, Bakugo is struggling to imagine them actually going back to the party at any point tonight.
They make out until they can see their breaths and their clothes feel stuffy on this cold night. Finally pulling away from each other, he’s faced with a panting Sero, cheeks red and eyes indecisive as they flicker wildly between Bakugo’s eyes and lips.
“You’re coming home with me, right?” Sero asks. Bakugo rolls his eyes in hopes that it suppresses his smile, but the attempt proves itself a failure as he feels the corner of his lip pull up into a satisfied smirk. “This is the second best day ever.”
“What the hell was the first?” A better day than this? Getting to kiss Bakugo and take him home?
“The first time I saw you naked in the locker room.”
“You’re a pervert.”
Then again, so was he.
