Eijirou blinks, throat constricting. “The park…” he mutters. “Why am I…”
And then he remembers.
He remembers going on a date with Neito, swinging while eating dango from a food stall, kids running around and squealing with delight. It was nice and they were about to have a rock skipping competition (which Eijirou definitely would’ve won) when a villain attacked.
Everything after that is fuzzy, but whatever happened, Eijirou must’ve been hit with a quirk because this isn’t the park he was just at. It’s dark and musty, the metal is rusted and chipped, the plants are dying, it’s cold and damp, and he’s completely alone.
