Summary
Peter Parker accidentally crossed universes while investigating residual multiversal energy left behind after Dr. Strange's spell. Three weeks ago, he landed in a version of New York where a different Peter already exists, and encountered you, who looks an awful lot like the girl he lost when Strange wiped Peter Parker from everyone's memories.
His gaze moved desperately over you, searching for the mistake. There had to be one, he thought. There had to be something that set you apart from her. But there was absolutely nothing. You were her in every possible way. You were the person Peter had spent years forcing himself not to touch and teaching himself not to approach. He spent years standing on rooftops across from buildings and telling himself that seeing you happy without him was enough.
